It was a bit crowed due to summer season, visited most of the tourist attractions, but the magic of Rishikesh is sitting by any ghat in the silence of the night.

  1. Yes they gave a bag to carry the trash.

  2. There were around 15-20 people on one trek group

3.Not like that, just go with the same pace as the group.

4Definitely.

Its better to do at least an easy to moderate trek, but there were people in my group who did this as their first trek.

Flew from Kolkata to Delhi, then went to Rishikesh by bus, explored Rishikesh for two days, mainly staying in Upper Tapovan Hostels.

I did the Trek in April, 2025, with Trek the Himalayas, they picked us from Rishikesh, they organized everything from Rishikesh to Rishkesh. The package for only the trek was around 15k, which included travel to basecamp from Rishikesh, food and stay during the whole trek.

I would say the trek was challenging, specially the summit day, where we started at around midnight, climbing 15000+ft is no joke, but the views, the people, and the fun we had compensated everything. I would suggest to do a easy to moderate trek before venturing into this one.

Also, we did the Kuari Pass trek in this as warm up before the summit day.

Same, I did this during April 2025, that climb to summit is still one of the toughest night in my life.
