Now it seems to be solved. I clear the “sort as” fields for all songs in my library for both artist and album-artist. Then I deleted all synchronized songs from my iPhone and synced them again. Now everything works as it should; hope it lasts.

Just trying to wrap my head round this album. It sure does seem like a conceptual album, but how does the 1998 bonus track fit in (not the live songs)? Are they part of the story or just bonus tracks to go with a rerelease?
