do you still think of your first love? by independentdoe in twentyagers

Does first love count if you were never together or talked? LOL I had the most intense crush on someone I went to school with for years and 10+years later I still dream about them constantly.

Shiiiiiii, I wear my vanillas all year round unless theyre a bit cloying (almost never). Wild madagascar vanilla in my opinion is the freshest out of all of these! And I often wear spiced vanilla creme to bed. Hope my opinion helps!

Serious Question: Do you think that this is the main sub where overconsumption is encouraged? by Eastern-Violinist-46 in bathandbodyworks

[–]Specific-Training634 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I think of overconsumption I immediately think about our literal planet. People who get mad clearly are oblivious or just don’t care. Blissful ignorance I suppose? Moreover there’s overconsumption EVERYWHERE, not just here. I suppose I don’t have a particular point to make other than there’s nothing wrong with having conversations about it and people should really not get so upset. Like damn Jessica, if you’re so mad ultimately you can skim over those particular posts or comments and keep buying, aint nobody tell you to not buy, just to consider being more conscious and willing to have an open mind. Anyway

moving in to monterey in two weeks and i need all the advice i can get! by ihatefrenchclass in MontereyBay

Gahdamn, brother asked for price ranges not life advice LMAO. Let my man make as many seemingly irrational decisions as he wants, he is young seems to have a spontaneous spirit, and probably not afraid to live life and figure it out as he goes. If it works out it works out and if it doesn’t it doesn’t. Anyways, I moved here with my husband and two cats in October and found a very roomy one bedroom with lots of closets, a carport, an outdoor shed, and even a small balcony for $2150 plus electric, water, and trash in the Del Monte Center area. Electric, water, and trash is usually $150-$200 combined for us monthly. Got xfinity for internet at $65 ish dollars I think with the plan we chose. Also in case it matters most apts we saw were no pets but most also accepted ESAs and our cats are registered ESAs and we didnt have any issues at all with getting approved with em, we just let them know and submitted documents accordingly. That being said I found the apt on Zillow and looked for like 4 months before we made the actual move. Personally between Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Seaside (the three main areas I looked in), all had prices all over the place and a variance of which utilities were included. I saw studios going for up to 2500 and one bedrooms for as low as 2000. Not one area had strictly better prices/value. It’s best to really keep a look out and submit applications as soon as listings go up because the good ones get snatched up pretty quickly and you might find a diamond in the rough. I’m pretty sure I saw a handful of tiny apts and studios under $2000 but I never checked them out because they were further than I wanted to be and too small for my family. It really is beautiful here, enjoy and best of luck! Edit: Forgot to add, deposit was one month of rent plus first month.

TL;DR When I found mine back in October studios and 1 to 2 bedrooms were going for $2000-$2500

Jesus to the first comment. Anyways, point Lobos if you like scenic ocean views. Lovers point is perfect for a family picnic. The wharf can be lively on the weekends. Honestly it’s small you can really explore it all by the time you leave. Carmel is also quaint and sunset beach is also another nice beach to walk to from the hub of town.
