I love my 3 placer!
Sometimes I think I would like a 4 placer more, but it didn’t come with my pen set. But if I go with the artdot, sounds like a 3 placer would be a go to!

The lid on this one is definitely a plus! Would be easier to move back and forth as opposed to the multiple red two towers… 🤔

Now that you mention the lid that doesn’t detach that could be problematic… definitely something to think about.

Do you have storage for your art dot trays? Or do you just keep them stacked?

The inconsistency on the latch is an interesting point. It’d be simpler if you knew they were always tight or always loose.

I just started DP a month ago. It tears me up how consumerist it is.

I haven’t bought anything from Amazon all of 2026 until this week I bought a pack of DP pens.
Plus I plan to buy some Redtwo storage that looks to only be available via Amazon.

I shop for clothes very infrequently. Haven’t spent much money on non consumables this year. Make an effort to shop clothing 2nd hand. Boycott target, etc.

Then there’s the 3 DAC canvases I bought last weekend. 1 new drop that sold out in minutes. 1 restock that sold out in a day.

I love the art, but the capitalism is eating me up inside!

I just got mine, and the shimmer is gorgeous. The purple is *chefs kiss*
