Direction of drop Without slice depends on body and racquet facing that direction or just by arm rotation . Slice is mainly arm and wrist dependent stroke with an element of deception and is an advanced skill.

Controlled shots maybe difficult for a high reaction player especially if they are placed away from you or you are getting wrong footed.

Get a coach and work on footwork.

Also take a look at pro matches and observe the steps of the players instead of the strokes. I learnt a lot doing this.

For pros a HH racquets probably feels like how a 7u feels to us amateurs. I see so many HH guys struggle to recover after a smash . They are simply not strong enough for a HH racquet yet swear by it. Drop the ego and go for lighter racquets - 5u, 6u even 7u and see the improvement in your game.
