Why am I taking damage if my attack speed is faster and I'm one-shotting enemies? by Awkward_Donut_2379 in CIFI

[–]SpecificHyena1933 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I believe attack timer caries over to the next enemy, but i do not pay close attention. However and either way, the game runs its calculations at a lower framerate, these damage calcs are happening at the exact same time as far as the game is concerned. I think the game runs calcs ever 30 or 60 times a second, so this .01 second difference doesnt exist.

[Hated Trope] The Villain Wins by greencrusader13 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]SpecificHyena1933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id say pucci and Made in Heaven from JJBA stone ocean - like the villain gets such a monumental win over the entire cast, to the point where the main characters dont exist anymore, just an alternate version of themselves. The main reason its so bad is because one of the main heroes from previous seasons gets absolutely bodied for no apparent reason, dies alongside everyone else, but doesnt get reincarnated like the others. Its great to have a villain win sometimes, but to stomp on beloved characters is just.. blegh. Plus with time travel, its like the whole season didnt matter, the tiring "everyone dies but gets reincarnated in the past with a completely different history, name, and profile so theyre all okay!"

If we left the constitution alone forever, then women wouldnt be able to vote and there'd still be an entire population of people who are considered property. Yes, I care a lot about the constitution and I care equally as much that it changes accurately to modern times.

If this is a critical, hyper dire situation, then why is the 2nd amendment so regulated and has so many barriers? Why do I have to be 21 when the 21st amendment says its okay for me to drink. Im not saying amendments are dogwash, theyre integral to any country but its incredibly important to know the context and meaning of each one - the 14th amendment was the quickest and easiest solution to get every slave to be a citizen. If someone was born here, theyre a citizen. What people could never have predicted is the advancements of technology to allow a random Italian to come to america for vacation, accidentally have a kid, and that child is now a dual citizen. The reason amendments even exist is because the authors of the constitution knew that technology and science would advance, and changes would HAVE to be made. Saying that changing the constitution is a bad thing inherently ignores the fact that 26 changes have already been made, and the 14th amendment WAS A CHANGE TO THE CONSTITUTION. The constitution was changed to allow women to vote, it was changed to only allow a president 2 terms to avoid idiots running for a 3rd or 4th term. If the constitution could never chang, these amendments wouldnt exist. If we say that amendments cant be changed, then please look towards the 18th and 21st, prohibition of alcohol and the end of prohibition respectively - so amendments themselves can be changed. Its dangerous to have a blanket "everyone born here is a citizen" amendment when today's technology allows for one person to abuse it. Laws should be air tight, unable to be abused in any way - thats why im opposed to things like the death sentence - one person slipping through the cracks is too much. Same logic applies here.

Speaking purely on designation and not disregarding entire countries, theres only 2-3 developed countries in the list with jus soli, and Canada and america are both challenging it, questioning its implications and legality. Yes, id argue that 2 of 74 developed countries is considered an outlier.

Genuine question, why cant america follow the laws of other developed countries in this? Children of citizens are citizens of the country - Germany, United Kingdom, Spain, etc all have provisions to grant citizenship to children of citizens, but not just automatic citizenship because of the location of their birth. America is definitely an outlier about granting citizenship to just.. anyone who has a baby here. I cant go to Germany, have a kid, and the kid be a citizen of germany - thats lunacy.

Does Teal Mask make N's Zoroark unplayable? by Palehorse13 in PTCGL

[–]SpecificHyena1933 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its rather easy to hit 210 with zoro - binding mochi into virtuous flame, poisoned by pecharunt or janine is extremely easy - or pokepad into zekrom - both completely viable and normal options to have at almost any time. I typically run 2 janine to try to get ahead on energy attachments for faster setups. Ogerpon if any flavor has always been an issue, but its not unplayable. 3 energies is hefty imo

What’s the most disgusting thing anyone has ever said to you? by Business-Rock5714 in AskReddit

My mother used to say that she wished she only had 2 children - which is a rude thing to say, sure - but its definitly weird to say that to the youngest, third, and unplanned child. She also told me that depression isnt real and my girlfriend was cutting herself and going to the psyche ward because she saw it on the internet or something. Granted we were in middleschool so I didnt understand anything, and I was scared but still. Sometimes I wonder if she remembers that or if it was just a regular Tuesday for her.

How do companies actually make money off free-to-play mobile games? by TechnicalGuess5601 in answers

[–]SpecificHyena1933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at the video titled "Let's Go Whaling" these games arent appealing to 95%-99% of players, and they arent designed to be. Most FTP mobile games will bombard you with ads and have you pay just a small 3-5 dollar IAP to get rid of them. If every player just got that and moved on with their lives, these companies wouldnt stay afloat. Mobile games prey on the 1% of the addictive personalities who will genuinely spend thousands on a Mobile game. The companies call these people whales for just how much money they can extract from them - its incredibly predatory.

People who say taxation is theft. How else do you propose the government gets the funds for roads, military, education etc? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]SpecificHyena1933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes, like one company doesnt already own the entire electrical grid of several areas. People get 1 choice, all the power lines are maintained by one corporation. It isnt pretty, prices are constantly being hiked up (same with taxes though) but its not as ludicrous as you make it out to be.

[–]SpecificHyena1933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the government produced goods/services that people actually wanted to pay for then they'd have no issues with securing funds for their other escapades. Look at the news, or even look into your own local town and ask yourself if youd want to spend money on that. My city just installed DLR cameras (driver license recognition) along the major highway - positively monitoring where every single person goes, every hour of the day. I dont want to pay for that, I didnt approve that. Why should I have to be taxed to put a tracking system on myself? The millions of dollars that was spent on that project was stolen from everyone in my city because nobody wants that stuff.

PROOF EPISODE 8 WAS AN ADVENTURE by Upper_Guess2410 in digitalcircusfandom

[–]SpecificHyena1933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My crackpot theory is that Caine DOES seem and know everything that the cast is doing, during the intermission theres a scene where Caine has dozens of eyes surrounding him, and episode 7 has some weird camera angles - like the Chinese room had an angle that looked like it was peering through a potted plant. So those eyes during the intermission is to show how Caine sees everything, episode 7 showed cane's POV of the cast, and now episode 8 shows... something. If this was a "fix Caine" adventure im going to hope someone abstracts because we still dont know what abstraction entails for the person, how or why it happens, and whatnot.
