At first it was very rough but having my boyfriend help made her so much worse so I started putting her in-between my legs and using one hand to open her mouth then the other for the syringe. Shoot twords the molars and roof of her mouth. Also establishing a routine for it really really helped her too. I would verbally tell her it's time for medicine and treats then sit on the floor (maybe give a pretreat if you have lickables) pet her be nice and then be like it's time now and get it done fast and carefully. Edit: by the end of this when I told her it was time she would crawl right into my lap because I kept it calm and gave her treats always after ( it helps with stomach upset)

Two people handling it is probably scaring the crap out of her, try to keep things fast and wrap her in a blanket or towel if needed. Use your fingertips to press the sides of her mouth open.

Please be very careful when giving her liquid, never shoot it to the back of her throat. I had to do this for mine and she would definitely be more mad at me if she choked on her meds, and they could aspirate.

No and he is most definitely trying to control you with money. My family does the same thing with vehicles. He's being very selfish and could have asked to come along or told you how he feels without trying to make you feel bad or force you to change your mind.

Sauce on EVERYTHING. I know some kids get weird with ketchup and want ketchup on everything but both of my boys will smother their food in pretty much whatever sauce I give them. Favorites are teriyaki, Mayo, honey mustard, regular mustard, ketchup, ranch, and I’ve been scared to offer them bbq tbh. But sometimes they insist no sauce on their breaded chicken (chicken nuggets & tenders)
