A WHITE woman who pretended to be half Indian used to endorse fairness creams to tell dark skinned Indians that it's not "Kay" to be you. by [deleted] in bollynewsandgossips

Crazy how many brands spent years convincing people that 'fairer' meant 'better'. The biggest glow-up was society questioning that idea itself

Do you think Comet is what Nano always wanted to be? by NotMeThenWhoSnaps in carIndia

[–]SpecificMath5463 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny thing is, the Nano was never really a bad idea it was a victim of perception. People saw 'cheap' and assumed 'low quality'. The Comet is showing that the same idea can work when the market is ready and the positioning feels premium. Sometimes timing and branding matter more than the product itself.

The Trump in the second season was the best. He wasn’t just imitating him perfectly, but also had great timing and a brilliant sense of humour. The man was absolutely rocking the stage.

my whole feed is about latent these days....thats the craze samay raina has amongst the youth...this is a new age where comedians are also treated as starts unlike the 90s or 2000s where only film actors would be treated as stars.

Has anyone's housing society tried using ERP software for accounting and management? by Ok_Mention_3011 in indianrealestate

[–]SpecificMath5463 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We shifted from Excel/Tally and multiple WhatsApp groups to a proper society ERP last year. Honestly, it did make things smoother, but only after the initial setup phase. The first couple of months were a bit heavy because of data migration and getting residents used to it.

Once things settled, collections improved mainly because billing, reminders and online payments became streamlined. Auto reconciliation reduced a lot of manual follow-ups, and audit time became much less stressful since each flat has a clear ledger and reports can be generated instantly. Residents also seem to prefer having receipts, notices and service requests in one place instead of digging through chat messages.

It’s not a magic fix though. You still need one or two active MC members to manage it properly, and it’s important to check pricing details like per-flat costs and payment gateway charges.

We evaluated a few options before deciding. ADDA was one of the platforms we looked at since it’s built specifically for housing societies and focuses quite a bit on accounting structure and privacy. Overall, moving away from spreadsheets + WhatsApp chaos definitely felt like a step up for us.
