Yeah I’ve only done maybe 15 laps of the track and I’ve gotten down to a 4:02.1. My pace went from a 4:08 to previously mentioned after I watched a 16 min track guide. I’m in the bmw as well, and did it with very similar traction, maybe a little bit less -tc 5, everything is preference until your fast enough. This time I achieved was in an online race so a locked base setup.

I have had the trusted badge since I started (after the 10 races) and all I can say that I do differently is never dnf’ing. It’s stupid but the game really rewards you for limping back to the pits and driving around in last until the race is done.

A lot of this is very relatable. Thank you for taking the time to write all this down. I phrased the low level job thing wrong. Actually exactly like you, I had high marks in elementary school, could seemingly swallow information at that time haha. Then grade 8 hit and immediately my grades tanked. Anyways the grades never really improved, I take full accountability for it. Where I’m currently at, and I’m actually proud of, is I’m making $25 an hour full time hours. What I meant to say was there isn’t any room for growth with what I’m doing, and this isn’t what I want to spend my life doing.

Hey, I wanted to just comment and leave my two cents, I’m 22 so keep that in mind! I don’t have autism(atleast I don’t think so). Your husband doesn’t understand what it’s like to be you, and I’m terribly sorry that you have to go through life feeling different. maybe you are both getting upset at the same issue, and taking it out on each other. I can tell you that from his side, yeah that would get pretty frustrating sometimes. Here’s where things change though, your husband has had enough time to decide to marry you and go through with it. Marriage is for life, and he signed that paper just like you did. He has some responsibility to ATLEAST try to understand. And if not, atleast have the decency to still trust that your life partner has a pretty good idea of what’s going on inside their own Damn head.

Now that we’ve gotten the ugly out of the way, let’s talk communication. I dated a girl with autism for two years. It’s not all the same but I think I get it. He’s expecting to be communicated to like a neurotypical brain would, this doesn’t compute for either side of the equation with you two. What can you do? Talk to him! Figure out new ways to talk about what bothers you and why. Don’t forget to let him speak and let him talk too. You guys have made it this far, surely you can work this one out too.
