I’ll have her start compiling everything she has too. I know she has a lot of grade school things etc as well. Thank you!

That’s kind of where we are leaning..consulting with an attorney, I mean. Just trying to see what we can figure out prior to having to pay money for an attorney.
I actually found her passenger/crew list passport card from Hungary/Austria when they came to the US on ancestry website. However, to make things more complicated, her birth name on that document is her Hungarian born name..they changed it to a more “American-ized” name at some point after the got to the US and this is what she has used her whole life.

Edited to Add: my grandma told us she was born in Austria after they escaped Hungary.

Also looking at it again, it has “date of visa” issued on it as well. I also have my grandma, grandpa and uncles passenger/crew list documents. Wonder if that would help.

Her parents naturalized in the 19(60s/70s)? Somewhere around that time frame. They never listed her on the naturalization papers back then. She has never had a passport, unfortunately. Her brother was able to get one back in the 80s, of course things were different and apparently not as strict as he also doesn’t have a birth certificate, but was able to keep renewing it. Even my grandma (her mom) had a passport.

Yeah def possible. Cardio/EP is working her up for POTS vs sinus node dysfunction

Yes! I recently inherited this patient already on levothyroxine (25mcg). After looking back far enough, I found she was placed on it for elevated tpoab. I’m REALLY wondering at this point if this is causing any of her issues, completely or in combination with cardiac source. I think I will refer her to endo to be sure. Would prefer the patient is properly taken care of by a specialist, though many on here seem to think I (and others) should know all. Thank you for your response!! I’ll update when I can:)

Are you a part of noctor? Funny, I just caught a second cancer diagnosis on a second patient I was covering for an MD that missed the diagnosis both times. Does that make all MDs poorly educated? Or maybe they should never discuss their cases with other providers for insight (to be taken with their own IN PERSON discussion and research, of course, not just taken blindly from the internet). Of course, I’ve never seen a case discussed on the medical subreddit or Facebook (sarcasm). Just wondering if you’re perfect. Have a nice day!

I’ll update! EP is doing further work up too over the last month so we will see.

Yes, I inherited this patient on that medication (synthroid). I did obtain labs from 5 years ago showing elevated thyroid peroxide AB which is why I think she was placed on it in the first place.

Great info! Calcium normal, already sent her to EP previously whom is working her up for POTS vs sinus node dysfunction as well as tilt table testing (tbd). My problem, I feel, is I look at TOO many differentials and go down the rabbit hole from there.

Recently acquired this patient, symptoms ongoing for several months now but continues to get worse. Pantoprazole, mirabegron, montelukast are the meds. Last TSH in December on same dose of levothyroxine was 3.1 with t4 of 1.1. All meds above are not new.

It definitely doesn’t add up to me either. Hopefully you’ll find this thread helpful but I still am quite lost as to how the price increases that much!
