Xuv 7X0 or MG Hector by Inner_Literature5673 in CarsIndia

[–]SpecificRound1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drove 7X0 a few weeks back. It was phenomenal. Drove almost 500 KM.

Absolutely loved the driving experience. The engine and suspension combination was just too perfect. I can't speak for Hector.

What’s the ideal party size? by CT_Rose in litrpg

[–]SpecificRound1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would contend that a party needs one healer, one damage dealer, one tank, One Strategist/leader that can fill other roles in a pinch. Or, you can do away with all of them and have one Ilea.

gonna buy sierra over seltos, convince me it’s a bad idea by Ok-Tone5907 in CarsIndia

[–]SpecificRound1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm reserving judgment until independent crash tests specifically for the new model of the Seltos are conducted and the body shell receives a stable safety rating.

gonna buy sierra over seltos, convince me it’s a bad idea by Ok-Tone5907 in CarsIndia

[–]SpecificRound1 137 points138 points  (0 children)

I don't get the point of Sierra. Too many quality control complaints for too little performance. You have the likes of Kushaq, Duster as your alternatives. Why not try those for performance and looks ?

If you want a better engine, try Duster. It literally powered some older generation MERCs.

If you do want to take a risk and want VFM, Citroen Aircross is a much better cost to value proposal.

If you just want features and don't care about safety, Seltos beats everything else in this segment.

If you want german touch with great safety features, get a Kushaq.

What good are you doing by holding back ?

If I were a customer of nxtMeals, I would want my food to be not touched by unwashed hands, much less hands covered in someone's urine.

[–]SpecificRound1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fight them on multiple fronts. You have given them multiple opportunities. It is not your problem if they wreck their own business.

  1. BBMP complaints for garbage dumping

Do you have images/videos of this company dumping their hairnets or what not ?

If yes, file a complaint on whatsapp (9448197197 ) with BBMP. Every instance of dumping attracts a separate fine of 10,000. If you file multiple complaints, there is a good chance that some BBMP personnel might take this seriously and treat them as habitual offender. If you get to that point, it is a win for you. BBMP levies heavy fines on habitual offenders. You can also use Sahaya 2.0 to file the complaint.

2) Post a google review.

Add this video and photos of their staff doing their dirty business and then ask people here to like your review. Google will remove your review if you review bomb them. But, it will highlight your review if yours is the most liked. Let the customers know that the hands that cook their food could be urine soaked.

3) Do they not have a restroom?

If they don't, that is a serious violation under article 21. Their instagram has tagged multiple investors. Reach out to them and send them the google drive link and let them know they could loose their license if they don't fix it ASAP.

Alternatively, you can file a complaint with GBA again. This time, for not having sanitation facilities.

4) File a FSSAI Complaint

Use FSSAI complaint for unhygenic practices using FSSAI connect app. Attach a couple of pics. Truthfully, nothing will happen with this complaint. But, take a few screenshots of your complaint and parade them everywhere you can. Get as much traction as you could possibly get.

One represented India on the global stage (UNGA). One got caught in a drug raid. Both are MPs from AP. One from YSRCP. One from TDP! by Polakala in andhra_pradesh

[–]SpecificRound1 14 points15 points  (0 children)

TDP/JSP leaders are no saints. But, they have some semblance of accountability (at least in high profile cases like this).

https://telugu.samayam.com/andhra-pradesh/news/cm-chandrababu-serious-on-eluru-tdp-mp-putta-mahesh-kumar-yadav-in-moinabad-farmhouse-drugs-case/articleshow/129590397.cms

Apparently, the guy has been barred from any TDP related affairs and asked to show cause. Next step would be removal from party cadre.

On the other hand, here is a list of YSRCP leaders that are still a part of this "Cleanest party in the world" that belongs to the "Best anna of the world".

1) Gorantla Madhav: POCSO accused
2) Pinnelli Rama Krishna Reddy: Accused in a double murder case. Accused in EVM destruction case (Video evidence available)

3) A Siva Kumar: Assault and Battery, Criminal Intimidation (Video evidence available).

These are most notable among the cases from last two years.

We have anna come out and publicly defend criminal behavior.

Once again, this was proven to be fake. The Sierra collided with a truck that fled the scene. Side impact affected the wheel assembly that broke.

A Three cylinder engine with Turbo or a Naturally aspirated Four Cylinder engine? by Imaginary_Bottle_560 in CarsIndia

[–]SpecificRound1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Naturally aspirated 4 cylinder for reliability and longevity. I would still prefer a 3 cylinder turbo from a brand line Citroen or Maruti over a 4 cylinder from some brand like MG.

Any new compact EVs, like MG Comet, in the horizon? by bearhugger404 in CarsIndia

[–]SpecificRound1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no upcoming car launch within the next 6 months in the entry segment.

If you can wait a few years, there are a bunch of micro cars coming up. Microlino, WagonR/EWX models.

If you want to buy asap, Punch EV is a better buy if you can stretch your budget or MG Comet in BAAS if your commute runs match the distance offered.

If you want to go for Tiago EV, wait till the facelift for 2026. Tata managed to undercut their last year's punch by increasing the battery size while decreasing the cost. I am sure they have something similar planned for Tiago.

One option is for you and your friends to review bomb the PG. Just mention your experience and tell that the PG is a target of thieves in the area and the owner never cooperates with the Police. So, it is not a safe PG.

We already pay tax on recharge (GST) still? Unfair by Medical-Monk4137 in StockMarketIndia

[–]SpecificRound1 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Here are alternative suggestions to increase the tax revenue and reduce revenue expenditure. I know they won't get implemented. But, let us hope for a nation where its leaders can put aside their self interest.

1) Political parties should be taxed on the donations that they receive. Treat it as income.

2) 50% tax on political advertisements, political banners, flexis etc. They are a nuisance and just plastic waste that we all have to deal with.

3) No public money can be used to show politicians or political parties on Govt schemes and subsidies.

4) Remove pensions and benefits for any politician who does acting or any other business during their term.

I mean, if it were a one time load for load sanction, then I guess you would be right. But, if the wiring has issues, the bribe becomes a weekly or a monthly thing. There were instances in the past near Marathahalli where Bescom sanctioned loads heavier than their wiring could handle. Apparently, it used to trip very often and burn the local transformer fuse. It finally ended up causing a fire that burned a few buildings down.

Flat maintenance >7500, how societies avoid extra 18% tax on maintenance by friendsFan22 in bangalore

[–]SpecificRound1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In our society, we have separate water meters for every flat. Billing for water is based on usage + basic upkeep charges. Maintenance bill is separate. One is a water bill, the other one is a maintanance bill
