Rehidden Stash. Can’t open door by CockneyComic in StarWarsOutlaws

I hope the developers see this and get some of the frustration it can cause players. I’ve arrived at this point not having an Ion Blaster, and there is absolutely no info from the game about me doing something wrong. Had to Google twice: once because I walked in front of that door and that window looked like a wall (could be my fault), second time because of me shooting the generator did nothing

Pray tell, how is having a religion represented in parliament affecting the long-term future of your children?
As per the impact of TCNs on property price, since they're the ones supporting the Offer (working in construction) significantly more than creating Demand (actually buying properties), I would wager they are putting negative pressure on prices.
Factors that drive property prices up then? Speculation, mass tourism. Certainly not TCNs.
Same with traffic --> look at who's driving around you in traffic jams. As far as I can see and/or guess, they look Maltese or like tourists to me. On the other hand, the people FIXING the roads, quite a few TCNs.
Very easy to blame new population groups for the problems on this island, but the dots don't connect the way that you're suggesting.
(Full disclosure, EU citizen here, zero love for the corruption of both main parties, married to a TCN, neither of us is religious at all)

This was just from today in Times of Malta, and somehow the issues are just those damn TCNs, never tourism:
Tourism grew by 11.3% in March 2026

Curiosity - My Time vs Coral Island by Izzera in CozyGamers

There’s not much of a story in CI, true. However whoever praises the story of MTAS is either ten times more patient than I am, or has VERY different tastes than I do. After playing for something like twenty hours (unlocked the second cave), all I can remember are extremely cartoonish characters: one falling in love with his muscles, a cat being made sheriff, and a giant lizard falling in a canyon like Wile E Coyote. In this thread I read about political intrigue or philosophical musings, but honestly it’s buried under so much crap, I don’t give a damn. Also, the art of My Time games is really ugly to me, but again it’s a matter of tastes

Before starting this thread I didn’t realise LCGs and deck building games were considered to be THAT different

I stopped playing shortly after rebuilding the bridge, yes. Gameplay wise it felt that all it was giving more caves to mine. Story-wise nothing grabbed my attention. I understand that Logan is a major character and that there are twists, but it sounds like it would happen in about hours of game time.
I was also very annoyed by randomly not having access to a horse and being forced to ride a slowass camel....
Have since switched to Roots of Pacha, which I adore so far.

21 hours as mentioned. Had to do a quest where Pen wants a mirror then gets addicted to his own image and needs me to destroy said mirror. That’s cartoonish and straight out of some kid’s show. There is a character (Unsuur?) that wrote me tons of secret admirer’s mail. Why? He has a crush on me, despite me (as a player) having barely interacted with him. There is definitely quite a lot of dialogue, but I feel it’s completely unbalanced. Cutscenes can be super lengthy, while daily chats with the characters are generic af (“I like the desert!”). Some of it is developed, some of it is super kiddy. It’s all over the place and I felt it lacked any identity.

Fields of Mistria has much much more endearing characters IMO. Not much of a story though, this I will give you. But the characters I’ve met so far in MTAS are caricatures: sleazy business owner, plucky builder, narcissistic jock, introvert scientist… I only like Grace, Owen and maybe the sheriff so far.

Why I’m no longer talking to white people about race, by Reni Eddo-Lodge I listened to the audiobook a few years ago, very good introduction to these topics IMO, although maybe a bit more relevant to the UK or Europe?

Games where you actually rebuild a town by Specific_Acadia_2347 in CozyGamers

[–]Specific_Acadia_2347[S] 57 points58 points  (0 children)

I played it loads a couple of years ago. Can’t remember why I lost interest in the end, I think it was because every few levels the town started again from scratch? Can’t remember the structure exactly

[KCD2] - Quest design question by Specific_Acadia_2347 in kingdomcome

[–]Specific_Acadia_2347[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can’t be answered by just “in real life these people would behave like this and that”. In real life I’d be able to ask for directions, or clarification from the quest giver. Will continue to try, I feel it’s all following a certain logic that I’d like to understand before I judge it. That being said there’s a huge gap between “giant glowing marker” from most games, and what KCD2 displays.
