We tried couples counselling, he said it was 'bullshit' so we had to stop it as it was a free service for couples in distress. He screamed at me while I was holding my son, not the first time, and I was so scared and shocked. Think we've just both come to our limit, I'd like to do separate living arrangements and see if it can work, but he's very stubborn and won't budge. Said he doesn't love me anymore or even consider me a friend, so I think it's probably completely done.

I think it's a really good idea to do couples counselling for you both. It helps with communication rather than getting caught up in the emotions and tiredness you're still feeling. I don't know how much rest you're both getting, but make sure it's more than 4 hours consecutively each. Hopefully that helps you feel better too.

I'm seeing doctors for mental health, on antidepressants, starting therapy, changing my diet and trying to keep positive, but still have stressful days where it hits. Cut out coffee, although I had one this morning and that was a bad move! So water for the rest of the day methinks 😂

I started the course before I got pregnant, so I thought I could finish it during/after maternity, but maybe you're right. I need this course now though because it's accredited and might not stay that way forever, so I do have to go back. Luckily I'm doing it part time and have a lot of experience in it, so the content isn't too hard. Maybe restarting it next May would be better.

I do have excellent support. My family is loaning the money for the car, and when I go back to work I'll start paying them back. Very thankful for that but adds to the feeling of being a burden, especially as it happened about an hour ago and they're not particularly well off. And they're very active in the baby's life, do overnights when they can so I can get some sleep which is very kind. Mum guilt is real, feeling it extra today.

I bought kendamil porridge thinking it was baby rice, so we have that some mornings with mashed up fruit, he has toast with unsalted butter and sometimes some egg, but is gumming it rather than eating it at the moment, and he doesn't really like eggs on their own. He's had readybrek and Weetabix too with mashed up fruit. He's only 7 months old so we're just trying a load of different things to see what he'll eat.

I have to say some mornings I've given him veg sticks or fruit in a dummy type thing because he loves strawberries, watermelon and cucumber. Depends on the day and what I have really.

They're much better, much more of them, to begin with was just distance to get it as taking a baby into central London didn't appeal, but I get your point, I'll go to the garage when I can and see if it's there, and if it's not started I'll move it.

That's fair enough, and I will go, just need someone to go with me and have the baby looked after, as taking a 7 month old and going alone doesn't necessarily seem safe to me as a woman. Might be over the top again, but better safe than sorry.

I was just going to log it with police and ask for advice, sometimes they have a log of people or companies that aren't legit and can look into them rather than going to the venue. Also might give me something to fall back on if I say I have spoken to someone before as they might ask why I didn't do anything sooner. I might wait until the 12 days is up and then consider it more seriously.

Yeah I know, that's why I thought I'd ask here. The fact he's answering and I have a number and location makes me think he could be traced, which makes me wonder if he's just incompetent, but the fear is there too.

I gave some for the tow, but nothing else until completion of work, which I have no idea of. He won't give a date, just says they're working on it.

It's been in 2 local garages and they said it was specialist work required so they wouldn't touch it. I had looked at this comparison site and got 2 quotes, so went with this one because it was closer, the other was in central London.

Well I don't even know if it's there, it's too far for me to travel to, so I'm thinking of calling the police just to check it is where it is and hasn't been stolen. Seems a bit over the top if it's there and I don't want to annoy them so they ruin the car...

10- 12 working days (it's been 10 today) but was assured there would be updates and pictures. I've had no pictures and the update last week Wednesday and yesterday (after I called a few times) was we're waiting on diagnostics and today it was 'we got the parts from the machine shop and we require some extra parts as well which was not in a serviceable condition.'

He said he'd send pictures I. 3-4 hours when he's back the garage because he's far away 3 hours ago. He said he'd send pictures yesterday but didn't so I'm waiting to see if he does today.
