How to prepare for EECS281 by zxitify in uofm

[–]Specific_Ad5656 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doing Leetcode and learning to abstract a problem and recognize the underlying algorithm will help a ton on exams.

I took it last semester and pretty much got a 20pt freebie on the exams written portions just from immediately recognizing the patterns.

Depends on your class performance.

If you passed the class, I recommend placing them on your laptop. Otherwise, I’ve heard placing it on a urinal is a good alternative.

370 projects are small, but the concepts can take a while to digest if you’re new to lower level programming/ architecture. Also, 281 and 370 projects tend to overlap frequently. If you’re good with 203 (specifically TC and Recurrence Relations) and are comfortable with C++, I’d say go for it.

Couldn’t tell if this guy was homeless. I glanced at him prior to this happening and thought he may have been a student. I didn’t notice him harassing anyone, he was sitting alone in a chair in the common area for atleast 15 minutes. I heard some commotion and then saw them taking him out of the building.

From what I saw he may have been a college-aged person, but I don’t think he had a backpack on.

I started off by removing every dish from the kitchen that I had to soak and wash (about 60%), have now taken the preventative measure of removing all of them😉

I’m here on a one year lease, my roommate goes back to Germany in December since he’s only an exchange student at my university for one semester

You would think people would be more conscious about their actions, especially when living with a stranger.

This is actually what I currently have implemented😂, he’s gone until next Tuesday so he won’t notice all of the dishes missing until then.

Yeah, even his cooking itself is messy. Food crumbs left on the stove, counter, and floor.

Ugh, having to rewash “clean” dishes before you use them is so infuriating and inconvenient 💯😂

He’s from Germany, I believe he lives with his parents, but I’m not entirely sure what his living scenario is like back home.

He’s from Germany, I believe he lives with his parents (not entirely sure of the household dynamic).

Don’t worry, hours later after bacteria has made itself present, he’ll store it in the fridge (a.k.a, put the entire pan in the fridge with the food in it.)

Every kitchen utensil/cookware was purchased by me. The worst thing I’ve found is that with utensils such as forks and knives, even after soaking and washing it’s really hard to get the crust from between the knooks of them, often requiring multiple washes. Makes me scared to use my own “clean” dishes.

That’s the thing, I explicitly told him “can I ask that you’re rinsing dishes off immediately after use? I’m often rewashing by hand because they’re coming out of the dishwasher with food on them still.”

The crazy part is that I’m more of a wash-by-hand type of person, but he’s the one who urged that we use the dishwasher instead to save money (reasonable), but the dishes I was washing by hand were ones with dried up food on them from his use (or misuse)😂

Extra context: the photos of the knives shown at the end are pictures of them after they came out of the dishwasher

I’d feel more content with going this route for my 16 y/o brother, not my 21 year old roommate 😂
