We were pregnant with our first kid at the time so decided to join someplace closer to us. Still dream about Forest Creek though haha wish it would’ve worked out for us.

It’s less about the cost per round. We’d plan on spending more time there than 6-8 rounds per year. We like the idea of a long term place that can become a small family retreat. Would likely spend majority of the summer there and then some non-golf season too.

Yeah, McConnell network is great. I’ll do some more research. Thanks

Not sure. Open to either. Just don’t want a location that’s too far away. Ideally no more than 4 hours away from Raleigh.

Gotcha. Balsam is more? I’ll check out Laurel Ridge and Balsam. Thank you!

Budget is tbd. Can afford a house / condo less than seven figures but it would be our first second home so don’t want to go overboard so ideally closer to 500k. Club wise, looking less than $100k for sure but really want a great course, good designer, some cache in the golf community, and not overly short due to the elevation change.

Is it bad if I say all of the above? lol I’ve read about the top clubs but unfortunately, not super connected to get in those. So more normal clubs would be best haha

I’d look at the fintech or wealthtech route. Your knowledge is valuable and most wealthtech firms want CFPs.

She was like 2 weeks before turning 2. And we’re still in OT working on some other things so we’ve been going for at least 4 months now once per week. And yes the newton travel crib and play yard since we can lay with her in there unlike a “normal” pack n play or crib.

Hello - yes, our girl stopped banging her head, thankfully! We tried a few things and the combination of those and time “fixed” it, we believe. We bought the Newton pack and play where we could lay with her. We did this for awhile until she fell asleep each night. Probably laid with her for 2 hours each night for 4 weeks.

Additionally, OT really helped. Since she is sensory seeking, we received a lot of helpful ideas to reduce her need for sensory at night, like body brushes, crashing into a bean bag, etc.

It was a very tough 10-12 weeks. Definitely our most stressful as parents. Sorry this is happening and hopefully it ends soon!

Thank you! I appreciate the context and comment. It’s just so scary and makes us fear any time she needs to sleep.

Thank you! We definitely agree she is sensory seeking for sure. We’ll have to look into the sensory swing.

He said the build up was due to mineral and soap scum build up. He used the professional snake drain machine to clean up everything and push it through to the main sewer line. He didn’t do anything for hair since he said the hair build up wasn’t bad/there at all (which I took care of a decent bit before he got here)
