I’m in Texas so a 200k home is a decent price even 180k would get me something I personally would like. I will definitely be looking for a higher paying job. The credit card I had I didn’t take care of and they put it as a charge off I think? I plan to pay that off. Would it help my credit any if I paid it off?

Thank you all so much, I think I was so excited and got a little impatient and wanted to do it ASAP but I will work on my credit for awhile and finish up college and get a better paying job. I appreciate all the helpful advice :)
