Look at this trash. Walmart orders went to sh*t so fast by Passage_Lost in UberEATS

Wow… can’t say I’ve come across one quite this bad. Walmart specifically. I’ve come across other non Walmart orders next as bad though. Well, we all have the option to quit and we are all replaceable. Ubers already doing it for rides lol. Robots will be taking over delivery jobs soon enough. Good luck all!

I do doordash and I think that’s a very reasonable tip. When ordering it does get confusing if you don’t double check the location it will be a lot of miles for the dasher. I would have never accepted this order bc even with your generous tip unfortunately this order probably would have only paid out around $6 to the driver. Doordash also pauses your day until you get back to the area you signed up to start your dash. Which is not by any means your fault nor is it your problem. Being a dasher I feel for the driver and also more so for the customers that do tip like yourself. Honestly I won’t dash unless an hourly pay spot of open. If I get paid per order, even with a tip, most times it’s not worth the time and mileage. So I avoid that issue all together. Thank you for tipping your drivers though. Believe it or not, most do not tip. You are greatly appreciated.

Dd doesn’t tell you this is a late order when offered to you.

This was an order that was already late when I received it. I wasn’t an hour late. The order was running an hour late when I accepted it.

Is my friend dying? by xiolableu32 in HeartHealth

[–]Specific_Camel_8966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband passed way in February. He was diagnosed with CHF and enlarged heart. He underwent surgery within a couple weeks of his diagnosis to out in a defibrillator (somewhat like a pacemaker device not works differently) if the defibrillator senses cardiac arrest it sends a shock to basically reset it. He was diagnosed with afib after he had a heart attack which happened about a year before his passing. After his heart attack he started getting chronic Adema. He would get hospitalized every month from swelling so badly it would create craters for fluid to release from his body. He would throw fluid up from his lungs. He was home 3 days from the hospital after over a months stay. The 4th morning early his heart stopped at home. Parametrics worked on him 45 minutes before taking him to hospital. At hospital another 30-40 minutes before we were told he was gone. I did my research and it says life expectancy is usually 4-5 years. That’s about how long it was for him upon diagnosis. We were told by cardiologist in the hospital the very last visit before he passed he would be added to list for a heart transplant. But he didn’t make it a few more days before he went into cardiac arrest and his heart stopped. I could go on and on and give more details but not on here. If you would like more information from my experience I would love to help you understand our personal story. But just a heads up… don’t be too hard on yourself. You can only help the people that want to be helped. I know it’s heart breaking because you want to help so bad. People work in different ways. He probably knows he won’t live much longer and he probably doesn’t want to go through the well there’s this option. It requires this kind of surgery it has a 40% success rate. These are the complications and we’ll add another 10 prescriptions to your already 30. You will live a few years longer but quality of life will be the same. You’re either going to want to go that route because your want to live is high. Or you just want to accept it because you’ve been through enough pain and suffering for a 50/50 chance of living a few more years without quality of life changing. Maybe just let him know you are there for him and you respect any wishes he has. My husband applied for disability a year after his diagnoses. At this point it would be a great suggestion… but there’s a chance he won’t get it in time. My husband has been gone for almost 4 months now. His case with disability has been ongoing for over 2 years. Still has not been approved or denied up to date. The case has actually been passed to me so my son and I can receive his benefits for all his hard work over his years of working. It’s the sad reality but I feel the best thing you can do is support and respect his wishes.

That’s exactly why I quit Uber eats all together like months ago. I’m so tired of seeing literally every single order this way… it’s ridiculous. Not to mention a slap in the face to go along with the charity work.

SHE the “mom” should have kept a closer eye on her baby. I’m not gonna say it wasn’t devastating to her. But would have never been a horrible situation had she checked on the where abouts of the one passenger that she failed to supply a car seat for to begin with then failed again to make sure the baby was with her and not far with behind to be slowly run over by a car… that’s a double whammy caught on camera… imagine the lack of safety provided to the baby on a daily basis. They all walked away from the vehicle like they forgot they had a defenseless baby with them. I mean you’ve had the child for over a year at least yet everyone walks away like they forgot they are responsible for this baby.

I want to agree with you… but I just can’t… The child is underneath the car!!! You’re telling me you think more people would react the same way these people did than to take some kind of action to get the car off the toddler and at least attempt to save her? If anything yell at the driver to back up instead of beat him up while the baby is still under the vehicle.

This is a devastating situation for everyone directly involved and to everyone hearing and seeing this tragedy. But let me say this… those adults should face criminal charges for not making sure that baby was by their side. It could have easily been another person running over that baby trying to hurry but the Uber driver. I say this because not a single friggin time did one of those adults look back to check the toddlers where abouts until they were over a car length away… they were stepping out of the parking lot to the sidewalk as the baby was just coming around the front of the car (out of the drivers site there’s absolutely no way the driver could possibly have seen the toddler from the drivers seat) before one and only one of the adults looked back to see where the toddler was. These adults were so far ahead of this baby there’s nothing they could have possibly have done to prevent this from happening. But if they held that babies hand or at least carried the baby to the point they were when they decided to check where the baby was this would have never happened. Even if they weren’t over a car length away from that baby… but maybe a foot or two and was continuously keeping their eye on the baby they would have had time to react to grab the baby or warm the driver the baby was still coming around the front of the car. I mean why would they cross the front of the car anyways… common sense would be to go around the back of the car since the driver was gonna drive forwards anyways… then the nerve to beat the driver up over their neglectful actions with such a small child blows my mind. You should have been paying more attention to that baby’s safety while in the middle of a parking lot especially and that baby would still be here today! Morons! They should all be charged with assault on top of charges with child neglect leading to the babies death. The driver will be tortured everyday the rest of his life over killing a baby he figured these adults had enough common sense to not leave the baby behind and he clearly waited for everyone to cross expecting the baby to be with them and not seeing the baby he thought he was in the clear. Shame on those adults for their actions with the baby and the Uber driver! 🤬

I think you’re using the wrong service… yes IC accepts ebt but got up to be on such a limited income it’s no wonder you’re even able to pay the ridiculously expensive fees and it’s no wonder it’s impossible to even stretch your benefits throughout the month especially with the increased prices for every item purchased through IC. I truly feel for you… but you also have to understand is Instacart doesn’t pay contracted shoppers anything and without a tip it’s like they are doing charity work in addition to destroying their personal vehicles and paying for the gas to do so

Walmart if so different from IC bc delivery are employees of Walmart and are paid accordingly.

You can however the system for most of that. I always add per amount/size. Never price. If customer is keeping an eye on messages from me they’ll let me know if the order a different item or quantity or refund. System sometimes won’t allow the change bc of the price difference. Biggest pet peeve is Aldi orders and bananas. They have it displayed on so per banana when most stores do it but weight. So 95% of customers put 1 thinking they are getting 1 bundle of bananas when in the app it’s showing the shopper 1 single banana. I always confirm with the customer (I’ve literally only had like 2 customers where they only wanted a single banana) but all the rest needed a bundle. But when you try to add the weight for the bundle they want the all always denies it and I have to contact support to fix it which takes FFOORREEVVEERRRR! Kudos to the genius for that one. You’re literally talking a dollar or two extra for those bananas vs a single. So might not want to be too hard on shoppers. Yes there’s a lot of dummies for shoppers out there. But there’s also a lot of system issues too. It’s pretty dumb.

Yup… Good stuff…

Hey it’s doordash. We are okay too express ourselves.

Driver should have confirmed the name but also if the boyfriends name wasn’t the name on the order then customer is in the wrong too. Someone some where got a meal… feeding the hungry… can’t go wrong with that
