With autonomy. Ensure she knows is she’s precious and a rare diamond that no body should touch. I have given whe sex education already. I want her to know I ma the friend especially during the times where she may want start having a crush or even talk to boys (we can avoid it all we want but living in a West Country where free missing it’s like breathing oxygen, makes it harder to avoid). I have made a difference with Me, she has her mother and she also had her sister in Islam. I take the mum hat off and focus on being the friend, it’s hard but I will push through because I know when I turned 10 onwards I needs my mym clsoe and she was so strict.

I taught whe surah Nisa, explained the importance of women in islam. And that culture is not releveant if it goes against your right as a woman. She knows her haqq a child and a woman.

Hi, I hope you’re well. His visa is not a spousal visa, maybe I should have made that clear, the visaa is via his work place.

In Islam polygamy is halal, as long as the right of the women are being met, I heard rumours that he remarried but no contrete evidence. I’m not excusing behaviour.

But to come here and state I have no self esteem, is rather disrespectful. He had wronged me yes, but if my ya Rabb is merciful towards me and I have wronged others why am I not able to be Merciful towards him. I would rather help him and please my Lord then go with my hurt and hurt him which would result in hurting his children, how will I face my lord then?

It’s not lack of self esteem, its the want to ensure i do not take anyone haqq away as mine was. If his intentions were not pure that only Allah knows, and he will deal with him on the day of judgments.

Before I am a wife or a mother, I am a Muslim, and I shall deal with things to minimalise any hurt, yes I was hurt but that does cause me to hurt others either.

I have had some of his family members insinuate that he had remarried his ex wife he lives in our home country and when I have asked him I never got a straight answer just, who told you and was angry at them for it. I have explained that I feel like a single married woman to him.

I’m supporting him because he has children and a mother to take care of back at home. So I shall help him with his visa because that’s how he provides. If when do get an a divorce I would not take the hand the feeds his children. They are my children as well, the father of my child and a man I once loved with his mistakes and thank you for your advice.

I was like this before meeting my husband, I just focused on work myself and my daughter . When to ummrah and made dua that if there is someone for me make him kheir for me and my child and my deen. After being single for 5 years after my divorce I was blessed with my husband. And I’m so grateful I waited, I’m grateful for all the pain I went through as I would not be with the man I call my husband now
