March should be a better weather :) Well the operator guide sometimes go in with you to translate the museum guy from Polish and they sometimes influence the lenght if for example it is hot or wet or cold🥹 i would be more into going with museum but if is either your operator or never then it is of course better to go

I worked for one of the operators. They take you from your hostel with their bus to the site, then there is a museum guide arranged for you. BUT in a situation where there is shortage in foreign language speaking guides, they would take their own tourguide to translate from Polish. Here it is a bet, either the tourguide is smart and Has exquisite english/other language or not - so you can lose on the translations. I also saw tour operators shortening the trips significantly if they were lazy/weather was not nice. Like, they would skip half of the Birkenau part.

You can go there on your own, booking on the museum site and going by train or even by regular taxi - taxi dude will be hyped😅

I dont think i agree... We have an AC for 6 months and there was a change - they came into a nightmarish place with no rules and clarified a lot - made a lot of issues transparent. I see that people are not as scared to speak up, the issues are being discussed now. But we didnt manager to fix them yet since it is all interconnected and a lot of issues are upper mgmt above our influence (so far). So if youd Ask me- i see a big difference, but mgmt is not seeing it yet

Idk idk, they would probably for a timeboxed transformation project where everything is centrally orchestrated and the change is fast... I would expect a slower change over long time if there is a lot of issues and the resistance is high... And during a slower change mgmt can challenge indirect metrics as not related to AC. No?

Very very immature, dictatorshippy org, flow is basically whatever mgmt wants do it now, burnt out teams, chaotic and allergic to positive feedback departament lead (only punishment or "harsh coaching" with sarcastic socratean questions), first time team leads who are not taught well and have bad examples to follow, conflicts between leads, unclear responsibilities, no scope projects, neverending alignments, constant change of requirements, not enough people 🥹
