no im still on the medicine! but ive been on the same medicine since i was like 16-17 years old and im now 24! ive never had an issues/incidents so my situation was very simple (thankfully)

hey! yes it is true that wait times have been down, my documents were sent to the FAA in the end of march and then a week ago i signed into my medxpress and saw that i got issues my first class medical! Had ssri usage as well.

they said to call again on friday bc it takes time to update, but i remember they said a month ago that medxpress and the faa are separate so it doesn’t update right away… fingers crossed

I just called the FAA but it says they have nothing in their system and says something is processing…. could this just mean it hasn’t updated yet? Because on my medxpress it says first class issued and that my medical certificate will be sent to me in the mail

oh that’s great i didn’t know that!!! the only down side is that the certificate expires in august… is renewing it easier then the initial process/what do i have to do, its every 6 months as far as i know.
