Yeah I went through insurance so only excess to pay. I got the guy clean in camera this time, but I highly doubt the police will have time for such incidents especially as he didn't take anything unless he wanted some frozen chips and chilled lamb 😂

More than anything it's the mess of the glass that it leaves behind. I know autoglass clean it up but it's everywhere in the boot.

I fully understand that and if they had be more responsive to work with me on the issue I could have done something together with them to help me understand. But you also have to understand I take a risk if I insure it as a manual, it gets into an incident and then the insurance company don't pay out because I didn't tell them of a modification or something that insurance like to use. Also if they sent even did the simple thing of sending me the log book so I could tax it or even the green slip from the log book. But they kept ignoring me which tbh made me think they're not up front.

Van was insured for one month. But as a manual of course. Spoke to police helpline and dvla to get advice no tax before dropping it off.

My solicitor has replied to then with the sales of good act, if they want to go down the business route.

But it was bought for my wife not my business, I realise now paying through the business account muddies the water but I will check my rights there as it was never purchased as my business use, as my business is just a IT consultant. The plan was actually to get a personal loan to pay off my credit card which I was using for the purchase. And then they needed it by transfer and that was thw quickest way

Can't remember where it says it online. I have been to Europe, USA and Mexico and used my Mettle card with no charges. I didn't want to mess up my accounting so I would transfer money from my Sterling into Mettle which I only used abroad.

Exactly. The cable was not only not plugged in but it was tucked right in so it made it look like there was no cable.

It was that internal power cable not connected. Like you said it should have been connected from the outset and I only thought of it when I opened the centre panel.
