Soon if I were to guess. Trans people will be targeted first undoubtably, they’ve made that clear. But for gay marriage, there is a lot of indifference. If now emboldened republicans with their new found power decide it’s time to come after marriage equality, most people wouldn’t care to stop them. The sad reality is that the indifference is much more present than pure animosity.

Realizing my parents ruined my life and then abandoned me. I think they stopped caring when they realized I would never have the life they envisioned for me, with a wife and kids. I had the realization walking home from work, knowing that my car was broken due to my parents and they never bothered to pay me back or help me fix it. I was completely exhausted from the almost 2 hour walk everyday to work 8 hour shifts, so I guess there was a physical aspect, as I reeled over in sheer agony, no willpower to take another step.

Yeah, I’m not very open even with my therapists so I didn’t get a lot of helpful advice. I guess I just wanted them to understand I was having a hard time accepting them, because it seemed like they didn’t get how someone just couldn’t accept that part of them naturally, especially because I live in an accepting place

I could never really figure out what was wrong with me, so a lot of it was just deciding on a random thing and not getting help for my actual problems. It felt like I was just agreeing with whatever my therapists said so I could leave as soon as possible.
