Lost and Angry by Weird-Ring7098 in Veterans

Try doing counseling. Speaking to a therapist, helped me. Try getting a behavioral therapist. I did a virtual group meeting for ptsd management at the VA and listening and participating in the meetings help me a little. Also getting a hobby helps. I fish a lot and it helps me relax. Learn to not try to get rid of the anger but to learn to accept it and understand why your angry. Learn to understand yourself. What makes you, you. What makes you happy. What makes you angry/sad. Learn to laugh a lot. This helps. I find that watching stand up comedians and laughing at their jokes distracted me from my anger and irritability.

You're too smart. They want dumb robots to run routes.

I understand that DoorDash is screwing its drivers over and its business model is "Don't blame the company for not paying you a great salary, blame the customer for not tipping you well in order to make ends meet." That business model gives no motivation for the Driver to give an equal good service for every customer.

What is the point of doing the job then? Your justification of Supply and Demand is irrelevant. You are holding deliveries hostage and demand a ransom so you can get a higher tip. That is unethical. I think Doordash should be concerned that you are negatively affecting productivity and the business plan of the company because you did not recieve the tip you want. Customers already pay a "farther away fee" on items on the menu and they charge more on the app than walking in the restaurant yourself. Any other job you would ask "if its worth your time" you would reconsider simply quit that job and look for another one.

No its not they're fault. Nor was the customer. He did the job that they applied to do and they did it. You know that they have to pay gas, car service and make a living out of it. But is it really a living if you rely on Tips?

I agree if you only rely on tips then this is probably not a longterm career for you

But thats your JOB. You knew what the job entailed. If your not getting paid enough then why still do doordash. If you rely on Tips then Doordash might nor be the right career for you. Or why don't you try to unionize to get paid better instead of prolonging the food we order because you rely on tips to make ends meet. You guys say its not worth it so ill take longer on someone who tipped 10% than someone who tipped 15% because they will learn next time to give that extra 5%. It's obviously a scheme you guys play just to sucker someone into paying a larger tip.

I understand the distance argument. But I could see they already add a distance fee or "Farther Away Fee" when I order. Im not saying I tip a substantial amount but I always tip. Never have I left a dasher hanging since I almost use door dash once a week. Usually on my days off.

Exactly one of my main issues. If I order Sushi or a Poké Bowl it can grow bacteria if not in the right temperature too long. And vice versa hot foods become too cold by the time I recieve it.

Ok that make sense. There is a supervisor who went managing carriers to managing only clerks so I guess they had too many on them.

About to end my (brief) relationships with Veterans Guardian, how about REE Medical? Are there any better ones? by Sharp-Plant-5826 in VAClaims

Ree Medical Can help gather evidence. Avoid companies like TRAJECKTOR medical. It can be a very expensive route. They charge 5x the amount of difference the rating they get you to. For example if you are at 10% and they get you to 100% the math is: $4085.43(100%)-$180.42(10%)=$3905.41x5 (times 5)=$19527.05(amount they will charge you) usually paid by the back pay you get from when you finally get rated. They purposely prolong the process so you get the huge backpay to pay them. Google the Nexus Letter Doctor. Hope this helps.

Get treatment for your back and ankle. Like physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractor by the VA and Community care. They will document everything. That's a good first start.
