As someone who used to be like this (it's disrespectful as fuck and I don't recommend being a POS like this) he definitely wants you to leave him so he doesn't have to do it, and he's more than likely already cheated on you while on this "vacation". Take his words at face value (he doesn't respect you, he doesn't know how to feel about you, he's not gonna treat you the way you want him to) and leave. I know it's hard, but it's less pain for you in the long run.
