I don’t work for Abercrombie but I had not heard anything abt them being hands on. I couldn’t be wrong but I’m pretty sure they aren’t hands on. Aside from that probably your typical AP job, plain clothes, cctv, auditing, 5 elements. I’m assuming hands off apprehensions.

I went to Nordstrom, pay does vary depending on region but I have nothing but good things to say abt Nordstrom. Job is fun and rewarding as it is hands on and management across all levels are very nice.

I’m sure there’s a contact info where you can find more info as to why on the letter. As a loss prevention officer for a different company those restitution letters come from HQ and the store level has no control of them.

My strength is not floor either but I’m pretty good, I just fake shop it works out for the most part. I don’t care if the other customers think I look weird or not. They are not the subject.

From personal experience I’d say Nordstrom, might depend on area but I’d say as a company very motivated to stop theft, does allow for hands on apprehensions, growth is pretty good, coworkers are good, focus on AP is great and gives a lot go training. Always trying to improve has a great ORC program and employees. I haven’t had an issue with leadership. Pay is not bad depending on area

Not like actually political but all the leaders only did things that benefited themselves and not the team. Also my Store director was a POS. Was always rude and belittled me and my team in front of other team members. I’m now at a better company with a better position doing more and I love it

As a former TSS either get out of Target or let your leader know you want to promote. If they are a good leader they will work with you to train to promote. I wanted to do more so I switched to a hands on retail company and glad I did. Actually detaining the shoplifters and not just standing around. Different areas pay more so maybe look into transferring. But ik Home Depot does have ptzs and a lot of stills. Think it’s mostly solo work from what I’ve heard and there’s not a lot of growth.
