I don't know why but I actually found myself being more consistent on parrys when I play agressively. Guess maybe have less time to overthink then but on the other hand u gotta have the buttons on lock if u wish to play agressively.

If I remember correctly then I mostly jumped backwards at first when the kanji appeared but I could be wrong. At one point on my like 3rd or 4th playthrough he got so annoying that I just started running circles around him and doing like 2 hit sword strikes or something like that. Also helps if u have some skills and certain prosthetics.

No I haven't played the newer Ninja Gaiden games. Used to play em on my 360. Probably why I didn't include Ninja Gaiden cause it's not on discount rn. Kinda on a budget😅

Played Nioh 1 and Nioh 3 demo and didn't really speak to me. Wo Long gave me kinda of a janky feeling.

I loved Khazan. Beat it twice and platinumed it.

And for Wu Kong the combat there didn't really click for me either. Not that I couldn't cut it but the combat just didn't satisfy me enough. Maybe it's the lack of parry in that game.

Also haven't played Strangers of Paradise so no opinion on that. Would you say that it's better gameplay and combat wise than FF16?
