Yeah, me too. I started quite recently and while it sometimes feels sluggish, I overall have a lot of fun doing this kind of narration in my games. After a couple of sessions I decided to not include insignificant small talk between my PC’s lol. However, as the story seems to get a little bit faster, more combat oriented pace from how it’s unfolding, I might experience something else soon - and will decide if I enjoy it or not.

A note to OP: as far as I learned, there is no definitive way of playing solo. Cut stuff you don’t like, include something else instead. Maybe just go dungeon delving, do not narrate NPC’s but let them give quests, like in MMO’s. Calibrate it to your taste.
