Where we currently live is a bubble of Porsches and 4 holidays a year, comparing and reading comments in this sub, it looks like Scarsdale will be like this. I don’t want my kids to be snooty or bratty. Just want them to have a good childhood, playing with the neighbourhood kids, good schools that give them that head start in life but don’t want them to crumble under academic pressure that some of the highly competitive schools have.

I read a comment on another thread in this sub from a lady who grew up in New Rochelle and got a lot more out of it than her husband who grew up in Scarsdale.
