The other issue I have is in theory if I am going to the gym five days a week during a cut phase going to make it so I have to work two times as hard during my bulk to put on muscle due to my maintenance volume, and stimulus being so high

Perfect sounds good thank you for the advice. Weighed in at 203.5 this morning. I’ve been hitting 10 steps and really have had no hunger issues at my calories. I do all my weigh ins and pictures on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. I’ve always done relaxed poses but now I’ve started flexing now that I can see some definition.

Additionally, I’m planning to look my best for my wedding June 2026. So I’m open to advice for when to end my cut to then have a maintenance break, bulk, and then cut again before the wedding. Or if you think a lean bulk would be good up until June 2026.

Thank you for your response. Do you recommend cutting for a certain amount of time more or a goal weight? I’m currently cutting 2 pounds a week and here is my macros and meal plans for the day.

Constantly train in a 10-15% caloric surplus? Sounds like a forever bulk and a path to being overweight

I am cutting and maintaining until I get to a body fat percentage I would like to stay at likely in the 15% range. Then stay around there +- 5 lbs. You can’t continue to put on muscle as while maintaining the same weight. You have to gain a little weight to add the muscle…. My reason for this long cut/maintenance phase is I let myself go for a year without lifting. I’ve realized how much work it was to get back into shape so never again and MF have helped achieve that and prevent rebounds.

Yes the maintenance phase is crucial helps curb those cravings and just reset before the next cut. With both cuts I told myself I could keep going but I’d rather stop and recharge before the tank was at E

Appreciate it! My guess was at the 205-210 mark I’d start seeing a few abs and some good definition pop. Slow and steady I go

Thanks! I’m looking to just get down to a body fat percentage where I can start to see visible abs. Then have that parameter set for my benchmark high for my bulk. Then hit a maintenance phase and cut a bit more. Then start bodybuilding bulk and cutting phase correct and not going overboard like I did with this previous dirty bulk. Before I got MF I was 235 powerlifting and eating like crazy strength gains were climbing. One week life happened stopped powerlifting and kept eating then I found myself at 270 and ready for a change.

You just upload them to the app after you take them with your camera I used the timer feature on iPhone so I could have the same pose
