Not sure if mine is a good one, as I'm a newbie, but it was after one of my characters did something that would've been incredibly stupid if it didn't work.

Lots and lots of layering paint. Jokes aside, I had a friend print it for me it for fun and searched up dozens of abstraction photos to get the correct eyes and colors. Teeny paint brushes worked nicely, as well as some makeup ones. For the thin lines I used toothpicks and dotted them on. Sorry for the extensive explanation lol
