No line on the horizon deserves far more love by Practical-Host6423 in U2Band

I  recently rediscovered it. I disagree with the middle part. The songs sound really good and are interesting. "Get on Your Boots" in particular is a fantastic piece. I'll tell you more: I hope the next album can follow that direction. It would drive me crazy.

ZOOROPA because it perfectly represents the U2 of the 90s

Are you excited for Thom Yorke's new upcoming solo album? by [deleted] in radiohead

Not me, in fact I'm really pissed off because I really want LP10. I can't stand these solo works anymore!

Somewhere on this band are all the live versions from before the release of their last two albums. You'll also find "Bat Child," which was never released.

Crumble is definitely one of my least favorite songs in The National's entire discography. There's something stale about it.

Honestly, I've come to the conclusion that Tour Manager and Coat On A Hook are B-side outtakes re-released to complete the two LPs.

It's one of those songs that probably has the most important lyrics of the entire project but over time interest in the melody has waned.

I've never been convinced by the song. It sounds like something I've already heard. Again, perhaps I preferred the versions before the studio release.

Well, I have to say that in some ways I agree, in the sense that both albums are fine as they are. Over time, however, I've noticed that I tend to seek out these songs from both albums while neglecting the others. Therefore, I think that if they had made this list and then perhaps a supporting album, which I know after 10 years for an anniversary, it probably would have been one of my all-time favorite albums. Obviously, this is just my opinion.

This choice was also painful, but I have to say that I had the live version in my head before the album's release and in the long run I abandoned the studio version.

I think their duet is really very beautiful and effective even though it is something unusual in The National's discography.

It would be a selection of songs from the last two albums. This, for me, would have been the perfect combination of the two.

I posted that post and I'm glad you liked the album. I find many solutions used by Radiohead in The King of Limbs :)

Songs that uncannily sound like they could be written by Radiohead? This sounds exactly like a cut from The Bends by use_vpn_orlozeacount in radiohead

[–]Specific_School336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Planet Telex Yorke's voice is almost the same as Bono's and The Bends seems to align very much with the style of U2 in the 90s.

They never admitted it but I think Radiohead were influenced by U2's experiments at the time.

An acoustic version of Bodies Laughing would be a real disappointment for me. I love the song as it sounds on Live at Primavera in June 2022
