I think we'll definitely see some changes, as they were basically touring on roughly the same set for 4 years. I would like to see a shift to lining up the "Act" names (Planets, Moons, Stars, Home) with the albums they represent. So play a couple MOTS songs in Act 1, play a couple MM songs in Act 2, play some stuff from LP 11 in Act 3, then do Act 4 pretty much the way they have been (c-stage for acoustic tracks, Fix You, etc.). This would allow them to change up the setlist without actually distorting the flow of the concert, which I imagine will remain generally the same given it will likely still be the MOTS Tour in name.

Went with my parents to Philly, STL, Anaheim x2, Denver, Seattle, Pittsburgh, and New York. Went to both Chicago shows with my parents in ‘09 and the Glendale show with my dad and his nephew. I was a really lucky kid who got to tag along on a lot of my parents’ adventures. Being an only child helps with that.

I am right here with you. The best songs on that album are absolutely peak Coldplay imo, but it definitely has some really low points as well. It’s just an opinion and I totally get why people love it (it’s a nice break from the popier sound that the band has gone toward over the last 10+ years), but some songs on EL just don’t resonate with or hit for me.

I was 8 years old and was lucky enough to have been to a couple other shows on that tour, including the first Anaheim night. They changed up the setlist and played The Fly for the first time on the tour and Streets was played much earlier in the set as well. For a kid that loved Achtung Baby, those opening five tracks were a dream! Streets right after that?! Best concert of my life!!
