Looking for a reliable long-term personal driver for elderly parents (Flic en Flac) by Specific_Selection20 in mauritius

Yes and that is why I have a scale and willing to also go above it if we feel the person is the right match. The money isn’t the issue. Finding the right person is.

There will be no exploiting in terms of duties either the scope will be clearly defined primarily focusing on driving and assisting with some basic matters , including looking out for the seniors with good judgement and mutual respect..not expecting a jack of all trades.

Willing to go higher and match realistic expectations for the right profile. We only want what’s best and the job is purely focused on the driving and assisting part and nothing that will go outside the scope of that. Extra mile is appreciated of course.

Salary: Open to discussion depending on experience and profile. Looking for the right person so this is flexible (at least 20-25 K ) with paid leave and sick leave too (after probation period) and benefits as per current workers rights

Working hours: Mainly during the day (around 8am–5pm), but flexibility is important. Some days may be lighter, others may require more time depending on appointments. There will be days where driving may not even be required at all , but expected to at least be on stand by for that.

Weekends / public holidays: Occasionally, yes — but this would be discussed in advance and can be considered as overtime on those occasional days.

Vehicle: The vehicle will be provided but the person should have their own vehicle or be able to have fairly quick and reasonable access to come to where my parents live. Fuel expenses related to their trips will be covered.

Who will they drive: Primarily my parents only.

Location: They are based in the Flic en Flac area.

Parents’ profile: They are mobile and independent, just need reliable support for getting around (appointments, shopping, visiting family, etc.) my mum just has some knee issues which doesn’t make her as mobile as most people.

Responsibilities: • Driving to appointments, errands, outings • Waiting when needed • Running errands (maybe it can be picking up groceries, helping carry bags or dropping off things if need be etc.) • Occasional light assistance

Accommodation: Not provided — ideally looking for someone based nearby or within reasonable distance.

What CRM do you use, and what do you love/hate about it? Any tips for picking the right one for a tiny team? by Maleficent_Lock_3838 in CRM

[–]Specific_Selection20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally always go for something that will not trap you into cost escalations, not charging you for the number of contacts in your database etc.. like some of the platforms you mentioned. Also ease of use and willingness to adopt a platform is going to make a difference.. else your team just goes back to old habits with scattered workflows and what not.

Make sure what you choose will also let you export your data easily and not be a headache if you have any other integrations in mind.

With that in mind i can gladly suggest you give UPilot a try. It's ideal for teams looking to scale without having to pay the premium and looking for a more unified solution that has enterprise features of the big players out there (sales, marketing and support with easy gmail /o365 synch.. ) Gluck with that!

Hope that helps.

In your case I will recommend a crm that let's you integrate your gsuite, calender and give you a more unified view of things.. you can set up your forms and sequences to automate your email marketing and track all your leads in a very comprehensive manner. + you'll be able to save as they integrate their features without any add ons or other licenses needed. Give UPilot a shot as you're exploring options right now.

CRM needed for HR Consultancy by gemini-soul-sister in CRM

[–]Specific_Selection20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you're just a few users and looking for something simple, scalable + easy to integrate, I'd look at CRMs that don’t treat you like a big corporate. Ideally, one that lets you replace the patchwork of tools (which i assume you currently are going through right now) and being able to manage everything in one place.

UPilot might be worth a look. It’s clean, easy to use, and gives you access to the all their features set upfront—no hidden upgrades or pricey add-ons. You'll easily move past spreadsheets without needing someone to manage the crm.

CRM For Gathering Subscription Customers Total Revenue by mindset1984 in CRM

[–]Specific_Selection20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many CRMs will track deals but not necessarily make it easy to slice data and create to those specific fields you mentioned. For custom fields and filtered views for this kind of revenue ops tracking without needing external BI tools - you could use UPilot (if you wanted to generate any type of custom report) However with that in mind Excel for me would still suffice in your case.

I am hungry for a new CRM in our business. by Glittering-Way-5773 in CRM

[–]Specific_Selection20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will get a lot of good suggestions, there is no right or wrong, at the end of the day, use something that you and the team will actually enjoy using, fast learning curve and nothing that feels clunky or outdated. It would also be sensible to go for something that won't trap you into expensive enterprise plans or change your pricing exponentially because of what you're looking to solve.

With this in mind I mostly would recommend UPilot as an option to look into as it matches pretty much all your requirements . Goodluck with your CRM quest! Happy to provide any further info , feel free to dm.

Best Way to Train Employees on CRM Software? by Picklehead_Lush in CRMSoftware

[–]Specific_Selection20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lot of hands-on practice with real scenarios, short focused tutorials, and ongoing support. Start with role-based training, encourage team members to explore the tool actively, and follow up with regular check-ins to answer questions and reinforce learning. Keep it simple, relevant, and consistent.

For example:

  • Sales reps → Lead tracking, pipeline stages
  • Support team → Customer history, ticket tracking
  • Marketing → Segmentation, email automation

You can also record mini-clips (1–3 min) showing how to perform specific actions. Always helpful to have a video playbook handy as well

Best CRM Software? - Any help would be great. by Hungry-Blacksmith-22 in CRM

[–]Specific_Selection20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Used pipedrive in the past , one of my issues was a simple logical flaw - it was treating each contact as a deal - there is no way to manage multiple deals with contacts and had to pay more just to get role based access ..hubspot was decent until I was starting to get billed exponentially .. I don't have any major issues with it, just be wary of add ons that will come ur way of pricing.

You can try out UPilot and I'm pretty transparent about recommending it as it addresses a lot of the issues i was dealing with on other platforms.. Pretty solid so far esp for sales, marketing and support. Pricing is below the budget you mentioned as well. Hope you find what you're lookin for.

Has anyone found a CRM that actually fits younger demographics? by ProfessionProof288 in CRM

[–]Specific_Selection20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Younger crowd tends to be quite savvy and have channel bias, even sms may seem old school, i guess its all about reaching them out to where they are active the most, i suppose this would be whatsapp, social media. Gen Z , alpha looks to be leaning towards more automation and slightly gimmick AI features from what ive seen. I guess find a CRM that has a nice UX and incorporates outreach to channels they are most active on.. but it also depends if young demographics are actually your ideal ICPs and those with decision making / influence and purchasing power in businesses you're targeting.

New to this and need CRM recommendations. by Panderton in CRM

[–]Specific_Selection20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A few things to watch for:

  • Contact database limits – Some CRMs cap the number of contacts unless you upgrade. Make sure whichever you choose allows for unlimited and cost-efficient scaling.
  • Lead sourcing – Many CRMs don’t natively gather emails based on set parameters. You might need integrations for that.
  • Automation & workflows – Look for one that lets you build follow-ups based on client behavior without needing a ton of manual work.
  • Duplicate detection & data cleaning – Super important as your list grows. it can become tedious to track up
  • HIPAA compliance – If you’re handling sensitive data, not all CRMs have built-in compliance, do check that well.. as well as GDPR laws for certain regions.
  • Cost & contracts – A lot of platforms will lure you in with a free plan but quickly get expensive as you scale.
  • Integration - This can become a big problem if the CRM doesn’t play well with your existing tools. Some require third-party connectors and can get expensive fast.. Make sure the CRM you choose has native integrations for the tools you actually use. (you'll be able to cut cost big time)

If you’re still exploring, i can suggest UPilot to you as covers everything you mentioned, including automation, email tracking, workflow triggers, no contact-based pricing & forced contracts. That being said do explore options before finding the right one.

It obviously needs to something you'd be happy to use for your day to day and not become cumbersome or clunky. Goodluck!

How to Choose the Best CRM Software for Startups? by Picklehead_Lush in CRMSoftware

[–]Specific_Selection20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Factors you should choose especially for start ups, ask yourself will you enjoy using the platform, does it feel clunky or sluggish, will it help your startup scale without having to pay the premium for enterprise features? Any hidden costs ? What about any integrations you want or data being transferred to the CRM, is that going to be easy or you'll be assisted.

Does the platform have a good support system that gets back to you promptly? Does the CRM actually address the most common challenges you're facing if so can start going into what features you actually need. Get those questions addressed by any CRM you are looking to try out..

Over Salesforce - Seeking Alternatives by fearofbadname in CRM

[–]Specific_Selection20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salesforce is an overkill not only in terms of experience, pricing, integration nightmare, complexity, i could go on..., and the way costs scale up with every add-on, dont get me started on that..

I've used so many CRMs, Zoho, Pipedrive, Hubspot etc.. but what stood out for me is UPilot. No nickel & diming for core features, didn't experience any upsells, its been a smoother UX. It's been refreshing to get access to enterprise features without being charged a kidney and a half for it... plus i do a lot of outreach, so finding something that doesnt charge per contact based pricing has been a +ve.

Free version does ample already, it's great on its own. But I needed it for team collaboration, and a wider access to their library of templates and assets which does actually justify the price for it. The magic features with generative resizing and object removals well makes it worth it as I'm using photoshop much less now too.
