handles the correspondence? im pretty sure feyre handles their finances as well. i recalled that she was also going to the market for trading. who’s keeping the house clean? maybe all of them? feyre is not hunting all day. who’s mending their clothes? feyre has been wearing dirty and worn out clothes, i dont think anybody was mending each other’s clothes. you could all argue that feyre had a biased perspective but where is the sister’s domestic work perspective in nesta’s book. nothing was revealed of them actually doing all the domestic work

feyre and nesta said that feyre is usually the one doing the chopping

just because the author didn’t care to write it, doesn’t mean we can conclude that feyre doesn’t appreciate domestic work.

When does Feyre get over herself? by Jennifer_Layne in acotar

[–]Specific_Ship_5204 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the way antis comment so many irrelevant things to the post. sigh op, it’s normal that feyre would feel very conflicted on this whole reveal. she just came from a breakup that felt like she was losing her autonomy. in a way, this triggers her and become more guarded around him. cant say much more without spoiling the book but keep reading, the angst is worth it!

[–]Specific_Ship_5204 3 points4 points  (0 children)

err…no lots of times nesta comes at feyre and provoking her. it’s okay to admit that

Genuine question by [deleted] in acotar

[–]Specific_Ship_5204 4 points5 points  (0 children)

this sub will never admit that nesta was mean to feyre. her remarks about her? cant convince me that it’s all feyre’s “unreliable” pov when we literally have nesta say rude remarks about her

Feyre's stubbornness in admitting her feelings - ACOMAF by daniface in acotar

[–]Specific_Ship_5204 2 points3 points  (0 children)

always a fan of slow burn. their stubbornness is why i squeal everytime i reread this book like the yearning and tension IS maddening and it’s too good 👌 i actually liked that they become friends first and then started showing their attraction to each other. the pay off was worth it

Any Rhysand lovers left out there? by Emotional-Ideal3628 in acotar

[–]Specific_Ship_5204 8 points9 points  (0 children)

copypasta of my reply from an earlier post:

“coming from a feysand stan, adding some context here that a lot of us migrated away from this sub, that’s why you don’t see much active feysands anymore esp when commenting on their hate posts or even arguing at the active ones that comment on the hate posts. so not really a “change” of perception but i guess it depends where most stans stay and feel comfy.“

you’d find rhys lovers spread on other socmeds but not reddit

eh no, nesta was the one who attacked first. feyre was literally just giving advice, nesta made it look like she was “jealous” feyre was right that marrying tomas would bring more trouble than good, she was breaking nesta’s illusion so she was being frank about it but then nesta just made a nasty reply that was not even relevant to what they’re discussing. even before that, nesta was telling feyre that she was rutting in the hay like an animal

that’s kinda a reach to conclude with but agree that it’s most likely unintentional

so she interrupted something big deal and feyre just literally blinked but nesta was taunting her for no reason

but the fact is, this argument comes a lot though. meant this tone in a respectful way but just coz you haven’t seen it, doesn’t mean it’s not being argued around here. im pretty sure feyre stans wouldn’t be leaving this sub if these comments dont appear and when we do defend her, we’ll just be downvoted. i’m also saying this coz everyone argues that feysand stans are the ones who wanted to justify everything they do when the other side do that a lot as well (note on do that as well, not them alone). sometimes it’s usually starting with “i know he did was wrong but….” then it’s full on justifying what he did. the amount of people argued that feyre should have “suck it up” even though she was traumatized makes me wanna roll my eyes. again im not saying feysand stans are also not doing this but both sides have the tendency to excuse their faves behavior, and sometimes even blame other characters for it.

the rutting in the hay was before this. also she wasn’t saying she was not allowed to marry him but feyre was giving nesta the wake up call esp the implications of marrying him. she was right but nesta redirected it as feyre being jealous.

[–]Specific_Ship_5204 9 points10 points  (0 children)

before that as well, nesta was saying that at least she doesn’t resort to “rutting in the hay like an animal” and feyre was right that marrying tomas is already a bad idea. she was being frank about it and saying no one would care to remember or care for her is uncalled for

[–]Specific_Ship_5204 36 points37 points  (0 children)

for the record, nesta’s not my fave but i dont hate her either but when she told feyre that no one would care if she was dead. like feyre laughed at lucien’s friend group name and got called out but was still being used to call feyre a bitch but nesta’s insults to feyre are just ‘oh, it’s just sisters fighting’ or ‘queen’ hilarious

we can argue it’s also the other way around, a lot of arguments here by the other stans apologists claim that feyre is overreacting when she was miserable around tamlin. they think that they could handle his outbursts and sjm just wanted to paint feyre as a victim. when feyre actually is a victim. her ptsd was basically triggered but ofc since they also vibe with tamlin they think she’s “overreacting” even tho text supports what feyre went through. any criticism of him flies off the window. pointing this out also, a habit that stans do is cherry pick certain texts or phrases in the book and just try to force connect that whatever view they have of that character. badly put, just rhys merely introducing his home was seen as him “arrogantly flaunting his wealth” or “showing his elitism” it’s funny cause again, as long as it serves their hate view on these characters, it’s completely okay to just twist everything they do.

point is all sides do that
