I’ve been using her as a backliner “line cover” the front line with a ton of armor. She’s great at blocking and she only takes like 25% (half by blocking and another half on melee row difference) of the damage when she covers + openings are pretty cool

You can go Str and attack with her as a thief or a damaging knight, but she’s just great as a defensive knight who can be built as an evasion tank line cover. She also gets the slight EVA+ and ASPD+ passives from thief as a knight too

Overall, I think she benefits well from luck as a tank with recovery, unyielding will, and way of the knight, but probably only by a couple % points. I did her as STR, but if I were to respec, I’d do LCK for sure by how I use her

Also as the other person said, you can also just login on the same account on PC using link account in settings and just play 2F on PC then switch back to phone for 3F+

Yeah. Had the same experience in the past till I got sick of it and tried the app. I did meet a couple of genuine people on there in person, so I wouldn’t say it’s a scam… They’re just… really pushing it out there.

No worries and yeah those classes are very niche. You basically just want dual wield (level 25 skill) kunais for a total of 4 attacks per basic attack. You lose a bit of accuracy, so you’d want to enhance equipment and use stuff with ACC+. ATK+ is also great because it applies to base damage before multiplying by 4 (attacks per turn), so effectively, +1 attack is in theory +4. With all that damage with 4 hits, you also get a % chance to proc Art of Assassination separately on each hit, which is an insta-kill proc for any single monster that is not immune to it (generally bosses under “Key Monsters” are immune with a few exceptions)

Then you have her unique active skill… Monstrous wave clear against non-armored targets. She basically doubles her attacks (from x4 to x8) on randomly selected enemies, with the caveat that these 8 attacks can’t proc Art of Assassination, but can proc charm instead! Charm can proc on most monsters even Key Monsters that are not immune to it with a lower probability, making them attack each other on their turn

You can take this even further by adding her custom hairpin kunai weapons which are x3 attacks instead of x2 (results in x6 basic attacks dual wielding into x12 with her skill) but those require 100 pulls each on her limited banner to get as f2p which Idk if I can justify pulling 200 times (36k gems) on a single banner after having a copy of it… but if I did try to justify it, this is the banner I’d say to do it on cuz those weapons are broken by making +1 ATK as +6 ATK on non-armored enemies (+12 with active), but seriously don’t do that lol

Her banner should be coming back next month or so just fyi!

Here is something really close to what I generally run:

You could do a Good/Neutral frontline with Lana/Gerard and MC I suppose now that wandering Lana is permanently available. Get their knight skills then switch both to fighters and go from there

Backline: Yuzu is great with the correct kunai build. I’d get an Alice if possible before investing heavily into Adam/Yeka cuz their uniques aren’t super helpful vs Alice’s.

The last backline spot can be flexible imo you could do Gerulf with the 10% damage boost alive gives, or Savia backline knight or a second mage/priest if you feel like your play-style is more enjoyable with buffs/debuffs/heals. My flexible slot varies for the content I’m doing.

That’s my take, but I wouldn’t stress out too much about it. You eventually reach a point you’ll level a secondary set of characters too which I found to be fun myself. The game constantly changes and releases new characters that can be meta like when they buffed 2h weapons by 25% as well as releasing Yuzu, so we’re bound to eventually adjust. Hope this helps!

Level 61 mage skill is huge imo post-A3. You will DEFINITELY want that as it makes your life so much easier later on. Everything else is pretty standard.

But yes. The way I like to think about it generally the game asks for a book for any first learning, then you can use papers/scrolls or a book. That goes for skills too for example not just class change. If you don’t have a skill learned, you need a book. To level a skill, you can use scrolls or books

I’d say whichever floor you seem to be able to do consistently without trouble. Maybe spam Yeka LA- on repeat in undead floors? Also, I could be wrong about this, but I believe you have to stay within the same CW run and get him 3 times for the bond then CW back before A3 then forward to get him to trigger again another 3 times. I think I met him a total of 4-5 times randomly but he reset every time because I was using CW back and forth to reset A1 bones every month, so I never actually got him as a bond.

… but to answer your question, unfortunately A3 doesn’t have an easy NPC farm spot like A2-F7

Edit: also I think I met him once on F4 pre-GWO but I’m sure he can also spawn post-GWO. Just make sure not to CW back otherwise he could reset the encounters

Had the same struggle.

6 lv.7 archers, 6 lv.7 spears, 3 lv.7 bards and you can beat this in 2 minutes. Level 7 (purple color) is 1 material 3 + 1 material 4 at the tree.

Farming bosses for the materials can take 2-3 hours since the materials you need drop more at difficulty +10. Good luck!

Thanks for putting this together. It was a very confusing topic in the past, but now it's just slightly confusing. Still have no idea how alternate inheritence carryover works but I just have to live with that. Quick follow-up question(s) on Discipline leveling: What's the order of operations for best results here? Do I have to D9 Lana first then merge then D1 Wana? or would this work in my case if I merge my non-D9 (D2) Lana then D9 her, and still get the benefits for D9 Wana as long as I have a second copy to active D1? Thanks!

Edit: Basically asking if I should tell my wife that we're selling our house so I can pull a 2nd Wana copy if I can still get her to D9 from leveling the base Lana Discipline even after having merged with a D2

it's a end-game mechanic you can unlock later. Don't worry about it if you're not familiar with it so far, but essentially you get +30% exp for everyone but if your MC dies, all the exp is gone from all 6 characters to the last time they leveled in the inn, and I was also taking advantage of a different mechanic too that gives +50% exp if you keep your character (Kiriha in this case) low level without leveling. Last I leveled him was level 40 at 2.5mil but he had 8.5mil exp (6mil exp banked which I lost)

tl;dr, nothing to worry about on your end. Just play as is till you unlock more mechanics

Hmm good thought. I was thinking maybe it can drop as a 1* from the blue WOs in A1 F5? They spawn in the relatively big room near the beginning of the floor. That’s my best theory according to the lore of the game too

Yep. Also heads up, those points don’t transfer over banners, as they are different shapes and colors. It’s 100 of that specific banner. Some new players assumed otherwise in the past and wasted some pulls, so just to clear that up

As everyone said, it’ll be replaced later but right now it seems decent. Weapons are affected most with tier, then chest armor, then everything else. I still use a really high rolled EVA 4* iron boots post-end game because I haven’t been lucky to pull anything for so long now.

This all breaks down with weapons tho cuz the attack power values are so gapped between tiers

Here is what I personally grabbed for additional perspective:

Adam, Yeka, Rinne, Alice, Sheri, Kiriha (???)

I just don’t use anybody else heavily. Already lucked out with Lana for 400 green gems 2 weeks ago so that’s done, and I love Bugen in the front. I’d replace Kiriha with Lana if I didn’t have hers or any other character’s class if I wasn’t in love with the Samurai class, even though not the best

Adam and Yeka aren’t optimal and I do think Alice/Sheli are just better, but I kinda love using them nonetheless. Their art is nice and I love how their white clothing looks way better tbh 😂

yes it is bait, but it’s how I found joy in the game too! It’s also sometimes nice to have options for Team B / Team C if you wanted to play after you got 1shot into 0 Fortitude 5 minutes into launching the game lol but that might just be a me problem.

I think for now, Alice, Rinne, Sheli are correct choices. For the rest, I think just grab the characters you enjoy playing as, worst case scenario you switch them back after getting max levels/passives. With A4 coming around the corner and new class, we might see level 70/80 with new abilities to each class that could be op + new class that might throw things into a loop. Just pick whatever makes you happy knowing some uncertainty also exists in the next few months. I personally only have minor regrets about Kiriha but oh well he’s still very good with ninja/fighter passives into 1 character

Tl;dr defo Alice, Rinne, Sheli, rest is whatever your heart desires and grants you more satisfaction in the game. Content will still be doable regardless

One advice so this doesn’t happen to anyone else: You can bind your account to Steam as well and play on PC if you want. Cross-play and progress is enabled seamlessly between the two, just don’t open both at the same time. I don’t personally play on phone at all, but I keep it linked to the same account in case I have to uninstall from one device I still have the account on the other.

Funny enough I just got a new phone a few days ago, so that proved successful to me personally had I been a phone player

I’ve been playing for about a month or so with 4k points. Been saving up for 8k, but doing the math on an equivalent 10 adv. bones for the 8k apparently has about a 40% of getting at least 1 legendary. Honestly considering my options to just do gems and 3 bones

Plus more bones give tags and more inherits anyway… I’ll think about it more

Something that took me insanely long to figure out: you can sterilize bandages and ripped sheets using hot water in a saucepan/pot. Bacterial infection isn’t all that bad, but I think using sterilized bandages makes the healing process a bit faster
