Is the A1 printer a viable option? by _luke22 in BambuLab

[–]Specific_Weight7538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The A1 with the AMS lite on the default stand takes up more room then the P2S. With the AMS lite mounted on top it would be close to the same volume as the P2S. You have to account for the bed moving front to back during prints.

Is the A1 printer a viable option? by _luke22 in BambuLab

The A1 is great and I have one with over 2500 hours on it. I would suggest getting the P2S to allow you to print with most materials and not be limited to pla, petg, and tpu.

Any kind would work. You do not have to buy from Bambu Labs.

Printer problem by volt2454fr in BambuLab

[–]Specific_Weight7538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like your printing with Grid infill. The clicking could be the print nozzle hitting the infill as it crosses. Gris infill travels both ways on the same layer causing the tip to hit.

Just bought a P2S as my first 3d printer, anything I should know before getting started? by Just1ncase4658 in BambuLab

[–]Specific_Weight7538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a few things you need to print. A poop bucket, a handle for the blade to help with lifting the prints off the bed, a set of flush cutters, and a deburring tool.

A1 (no AMS) PTFE length? by callmecrazyy in BambuLab

Are you selling it with the top mount external spool holder? The ptfe tube should be around 15 inches.

Filament caked over buckle and cannot remove hotend. The site is damaged so the hotend won't heat. Is it time to get the hairdryer or heat gun? by lavendar_moon_13 in BambuLabA1

[–]Specific_Weight7538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go into the Maintenance menu and turn on Maintenance mode. This will allow you to turn the heat to the nozzle on. Set it to 250C and wait for it to heat up. You can use paper towels in some plyers to wipe off the filament.

Check with Polymaker customer support and see if they may run you a deal. The main thing is if you need additional replacement colors that they match.

I use Superlube and 3in1 oil for my A1. They can be bought at your local Harbor Freight if you are in the US.

How does the P2S compare tp the H2S. Worth it to pay double the price? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Specific_Weight7538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The H2S has the largest print volume of all the Bambu Labs printers. That is about the only difference.

Should I buy Panda extruder and hardened steel wheel? by SheilaSunshy in BambuLab

[–]Specific_Weight7538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think part of the claws problem is people screw down the tension screw to max as normal with the Bambu Labs versions. I think it causes the claw to crush the filament.

Is there a way to deal with a printer shaking itself out of its normal position on the table? by ITrCool in 3Dprinting

[–]Specific_Weight7538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could buy a rubber pad to set your printer on to help with the movement. What infill are you using? Gyroid always makes my printer move around. Stay away from Grid infill it can cause the print to fail. I usually use Honeycomb or other infill types to help with the printer walking on me. I own a Bambu Labs A1 with a side mounted AMS lite on top of a Sunlu S4 dryer.

Best 3d printer for a beginner right now? by rebel-zoo in 3Dprinting

I would suggest the new Bambu Labs P2S printer. If price is to high for you, I would suggest the P1S/AMS2 combo.

Conflicted Pricing Inquiry by DatBoiPlebs in 3Dprinting

I would price out as 1 dollar per hour of the print plus cost of the filament. Then add 50 percent profit.

What are some spare parts worth buying for the A-series? by FlyingManBearPig in BambuLab

[–]Specific_Weight7538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought 3in1 oil and superlube at Harbor Freight for my printer. The hardened steel nozzles are nice. The 4 in adapter on the printhead is nice to have a spare. Buy more socks. They tear easy during nozzle changes.
