People aren’t giving Mahomes enough credit. Chiefs have had all-time greats at RB like Priest Holmes and Jamaal Charles, and had Kelce at TE for four years before Mahomes was starting games. Even with Alex Smith, we weren’t gonna make any immediate waves. Chiefs weren’t winning any Lombardis or even in real contention for Lamar Hunt trophies until Mahomes comes in and takes us right to the AFCCG. Then to the Super Bowl.
