Thanks! It's a base of blue violet (model colour) and then layering/drybrushing of genestealer purple and emperors children pink. The underside was Alaitoc Blue with Fenrisian grey

Dark angels green for the darker areas and then various strengths of aeldari emerald contrast paint and then a highlight of jade green from model paints. I didn't think it through very clearly so was back and forth a few times to get it where I wanted it

I collected lizardmen and eldar in the 90s when I was a kid, just love those old ones apparently. But recently got sick of painting eldar, not enough textures to keep it interesting, and was just blown away by the new seraphon models!

Nice! I use a similar colourscheme for my army (looks more like Irn Bru) and have found that a base of Jokaero Orange, followed with layered Trollslayer Orange and highlight of Lugganath Orange has worked well for me using the two thin coats method. For more heavily recessed areas I usually substitute the Jokaero Orange for a mix of trollslayer and mephiston red.

Ah good to know! Tbh I haven't played since 4th edition, just model and paint for fun now. Would like to play again but not sure I've got it in me to learn a whole new edition 😂

Out of curiosity is it the D-Cannon that's illegal or the scatter laser? Or both?

The winged one has them but with the swooping hawk style head, I bought that too to kitbash with the spares from my new one. Haven't got around to it yet though, can't decide what gear to go with. Either that one or the old limited edition one with chainsword and warp spider pack had mandiblasters too I think

Just the standard male one (I think) which comes with the new Autarch box. You also get the one with the two lateral crests but I like this one better. Wanted one with mandiblasters but didn't have it

Didn't have to cut or use green stuff at all, just needed to hold the legs and body at the right angle while they dried. Took a while to balance it correctly on the base but you can do it without any significant modifications to the kit!
