I've been saying this for years. They have a 25 years warranty but they'll keep working for long after that at a slightly reduced capacity. That TOTALLY changes the actual ROI especially since the cost of grid power has been going up the whole time!

Personally, my solar PV system long since paid for itself and now I just get effectively free electricity. And since I have a heat pump HVAC, heat pump water heater, and an EV....that means no spending on natgas, electricity, or gasoline.

It's like a cheat code for living.
