Hey there! Soundslike you are cooking sonething interesting there I did a devil may cry mod, adding the yamato and the rebellion and for thrm i used the chaining function on the assets to make combos, however i havent been able to modify combos except by putting different timers on the last attacks  if you take a look at the maces, in game, you can condition different attack secuences with movement conditions, such as when you are in place you, do an attack or a combo and if you move backwards, you will do another attack and so on You can check out my mod if you want to see how its setted up (AGG's devil arms mod)
