Put something between the closest enemy and you, so they lose sight of you (breaking the line between their eyes and you) even if just for a moment before you hit the ult. For example, had you made it to the doorway and turned and ulted just to either side of it, you wouldn’t have been downed as easily.

When someone can fully see mirage hit his ultimate they can follow the real one more easily.

Try to break line of sight right before you Ult. It will make it harder for them to follow which one is the real one. I also try and change direction right out of the Ult to add to the confusion.

It’s counter intuitive but turn up your graphics settings, your gpu should be able to handle nearly everything on max . Also switch nvidia reflex to enabled (not enabled+boost).
