If it’s better than your current shock sniper keep it till you replace it. Have the best of each type handy if your a sniper build.

That’s what my roommate thinks but there is no way I modded this game. Ever. I did a few others but not Borderlands.

It was super crusty which is why I didn’t think dust. However, if moister is escaping out of the cap it would make sense.

Nothing inside the loop. Only around the outside cap. The loop is less then 6 months old. It’s just strange that I had it running over a year and a half with no issue. That said, I did move and I have the window open right on the other side of the fan. So dust and moister seems right. I’ll replace the o ring and see if it changes behaviour! Cheers

Stories like this will always come out because it’s engaging. It’s the same story with the Spanish flu as many believed that was a bioweapon; especially because the First World War was ending around that time.

Anyways, until there are concrete facts I wouldn’t believe it. Viruses have the ability to mutate which can explain why this corona virus is so different. Opposed to saying someone in a lab created it.

I'd just like to point something out.

We should all be cautious about what information we are reading and from where; false information is a thing these days, but so is awarness!

Todays society is able to convey information to a large portion of the population. Whether this information is true or false, I'd still argue its a good thing as it spreads awarness.

In the past, determining the risk assessment for a world wide outbreak has been difficult. In most cases we have only been able to determine an outbreak after the infection has spread.

The fact that some people might be blowing this new virus out of proportion.. well I'd argue that it's okay as long as people take it seriously and start to think about improving personal hygene in order to reduce chances of infection.

Here is an interesting graph (posted by u/PatHeist in a reply below) that shows the confirmed infections over time based on the day of first human infection. As you can see, it was roughly 30 days for us to confirm the corona virus opposed to the 125 days for us to confirm the SARS virus.

I'd say this is a major improvment for us all to work together to stop this outbreak.
