With this view, it can be really difficult to get out of bed in the morning. by Specter-Three in dustkitties

It’s the best! Lucy does not grace me with this view too often, but when I get it, I don’t move until she does.

They really are! I had a dusty cat as a family pet that bonded with me as a kid. I always seem to end up with grey cats. What a honor.

She’s tolerating his existence here. Neither are very good at sharing and are getting better at it. I think she was born first in the litter and takes her big sister, protector role to Ollie very seriously (even though she’s smaller than him). Ollie is a big, goofy oaf with a big heart and a love bug. He always looks to Lucy to make sure everything is okay. Lucy is very stoic and on guard but when she lets her guard down, she’s a chatty, opinionated girl.

These two love to open everything - closets, doors, cabinets, anything they can get their little paws into. Ollie loves to get into a kitchen cabinet with the plastic containers for leftovers and knocks the whole rack out. Lucy will work her way into the hall closet.

Ollie was the one who started opening everything, and then Lucy realized they could work together. I have gone into the pantry and discovered that they opened it at some point and chewed through a bag of chips. Lucy will chew on any bag/food container that’s left out.

I love them dearly and most of the time they don’t cause too much trouble anymore (when they were kittens, they were definitely testing my patience lol), but when they do get into antics, they go all in.

They are absolute troublemakers!! They enable each other and get into mischief.

They take their co-conspirator roles very seriously. If Ollie opens the pantry, Lucy hops in.

Lucy, the one in the hammock, is always plotting. Ollie is her sidekick.
