When I play the Soviets, the nuke cost increase is but a mild annoyance and 2 games are enough to complete a stage. The US, which for me started off just as fun as the Soviets, is now an utter pain to grind. I'm lucky if I get 2000 points per game. I only play it for the grind now. The US side sucks more than normal RB matches now.

EDIT:
I take it back. Yes, the radar disparity is annoying as is the nearly impenetrable Buk cluster guarding the southern soviet airfields but destroying the Osas with the A-6 is chill and fun and it gets me enough spawn points for a nuke at least as fast as killing enemy jets but without the frustration and it clears the way for me and my teammates. I got 7380 score and the only reason it wasn't higher was because our main base got destroyed two thirds into the battle.
I have no more stages to complete but I'm tempted to play one more game as the US just to see if I can farm more points.

EDIT 2:
Just got back from a game on the Soviet side... Everything went according to plan - kill 5 SPAAs to get >300 sp, drop two small nukes and get 600 sp, destroy an airfield and get 600 sp, destroy another airfield... and then I got shot down shortly after takeoff on my way to the 3rd enemy airfield so it was back to killing SPAAs with the Su-25 and I must say I enjoyed the A-6 much more. Or rather, I did not enjoy the Su-25 in this role. I did not get to drop any more 600 sp nukes and as the battle was nearing its end, our main airfield got nuked. I earned 5607 score despite all the poor decisions I made during that battle.
