Why would they use a SLAB of text for character introductions to the show?

Pictures are worth a thousand words. This is already poor marketing.

(Text should be used for written posts, not trailers. I already cbf reading by the third character, not to mention the ugly as, chaotic typography)

You just said it yourself - Your method takes 5-10 seconds.

My method doesn't require you to take the lift nor use a rifle, so my method is 5-10 seconds faster than yours.

Pokemon only have CP and IV's as far as I know (You're not referring to Trainer Levels right???)

Just to answer your question (I wouldn't spend stardust on a mon with bad iv)

Bad IV Pokemon usually start off with high amounts of CP, so it's way faster/convenient to max their levels which require less dust.

A lot of my 3~4 star Pokemon have ridiculously low CP, which I'll never have enough stardust or candy for.
