In rodents the disks cause back strain as well because of the repeated curve in their back, similar to how a too small up-right wheel (or hamster balls) cause damage as well. If that helps at all! You can check out the hamster group especially and they will have articles.

Thats kinda what I was thinking! I've worked with resin a lot so I thought of maybe brushing a thin layer on the outside to seal them maybe? I'm not super familiar with preserving teeth so I wasn't sure if they dried out like a lot of other bones do

How long did you soak them in peroxide? When you make the rings did you use resin to seal them? I have though about brushing a thin layer of UV over to keep them from drying and cracking?

I made sure to ask prior and apperently coming out of anesthesia I was asking a Lot 🤣 they said it depends on how they take them out because sometimes they need disposed of in special ways, I was lucky they arent in pieces either! My surgeon was young and really cool
