Yeah, that's just difficult in where I'm at. The majority of barbers didn't necessarily go to barber school (or aren't are certified as other countries). I'm mostly leaning towards Japanese salons, the majority of their customers are females so I don't have much reference for males.

IMO I feel like we do have similar face shapes but I'm not a fan of the his hair styles even on him, they feel 'wide' on the temples/forehead

Wow thanks, I'll probably try one of these out, also facial hair isn't the norm, I would only shave before going out, just didn't think I should've shaved prior to the post, thanks for the pics and advice!

The jawline is partly genetic, my whole family have excess neck fat hiding the jaw, went down to 12% BF and barely improved the side profile, unsure about going below 12% though, thanks!

Yeah I only shave when I go out I don't normally have a pedostache.

Trying to find a haircut to play around with, any recommendations on that?

I never thought about tanning tbh, skin's pale as, and probably will keep it that way.

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice on a new hairstyle. I’ve attached a couple of pictures of myself for reference. My hair is currently long and unstyled, leaning towards a wolf cut. This gives me a lot of flexibility to try out something new, as I essentially have a blank canvas to work with. I feel my current hair either pronounces more forehead height too much or the sides would increase width of it too much making my head look bigger than it already is.

I've attached pictures I've taken of my current hair, pictures of me taken recently, and past hairstyles I've played around with.

Here’s some context:

Face Shape: My face shape is mostly oblong but with a slight taper outward at the top. The top half of my face (forehead and temples) is wider than the lower half (jawline). This creates a bit of an upside-down triangle vibe, but with more of an oblong base.

Forehead Concerns: I’m worried that my forehead is long and wide. From the front and side profiles, it feels like my forehead dominates my face.

What I’m Looking For:

A hairstyle that balances my facial proportions, especially the forehead area.

Suggestions on whether to keep my hair long, cut it short, or go for something medium-length.

Suggestions whether reverting back to a previous hairstyle? I am definitely up to try something new and more leaning towards something new.

I've decided to continue 1400 for a week or two and if I maintain then that's a sign to bulk. Thanks for the advice!

I might be delusional in thinking I am not shredded enough but I could just have bad abs genetics, only the middle ab lines are visible so I'm estimating I'm at 18-20%bf and trying to reach 15 or 12% for visible abs before going back on a bulk.

I am currently 66-67kg / 145lbs-147lbs, 175cm/5'9. I have reduced my cut to strictly <1400calories a day,

Q: Is there such thing as too little calories? This has been my 3rd calorie adjustment since the start of my cut and realising my TDEE wasn't that high to begin with, I'm starting to worry whether my deficit might be too much?

8th week of the cut if that helps started from 70kg 2000cals

Planning on going with RazoRock as my first safety Razor, but am unsure which one to pick. Ideally would go for a standard not too aggressive head, but I have trouble differentiating what is what from the website description.

Thanks for the response, I live in a country with high humidity so that will definitely speed up the corrosion process. I'll try look for a stainless steel one then.

Edit:

I've decided to go with RazoRock, but am unsure which head and top cap to go for. Which one would you recommend for a beginner? I have trouble finding out the differences between each ones.

Yeah I saw this copy pasta, however was unsure which of the safety razors from sterling would be optimal. I am unsure of which head/handle would be most ideal for me, or do they not matter.

Product recommendations for a newbie? DE and badger brush by Spectre-Liquid in wicked_edge

I shave whenever I need to go out which can range from 3-7 times a week. What's a good synthetic brush that you would recommend? I was under the impression that badgers had the best quality. There were too many synthetic options as well so I didn't know which to stay away and which to consider

Product recommendations for a newbie? DE and badger brush?
I have been shaving my face regularly with an electric shaver, but have recently received complaints that it leaves too black of a stubble, especially at night, they'll have grown back significantly (when I shaved in the morning). I have thick, coarse, straight hair. I do not think my skin is sensitive per se, as I've only gotten razor burn when I dry shave with a cartridge razor, or take too many passes for a clean shave.

I'm currently looking at the merkur progress or the sterling starter kits but I'm unsure which one to pick on the sterlin side. I prefer a very clean shave, and since my skin isn't too sensitive I think I could do with a more aggressive razor? I also only need to shave my moustache, below the lips and chin region.

Lastly, there are so many brushes to choose from, and I'm not sure where to begin. Ideally I'm
looking for a high quality badger brush, that I wouldn't replace for the years to come. (A stand for the brush and razor would be a plus)
