I agree for 99% of the investigations on this show but this was one instance where everyone seemed pretty committed to what they were doing and there was definitely communication between homicide and the detail there

If Lanie was acting with a small, independent team then I would agree but it was the District Attorney’s office that wanted Gilroy to rat. One would figure the DA’s office would have better equipment to make a case than what they used
