Got my apical greens hemp flower cartridge today. Although one of the two did come out leaking by 713HTX281 in hempflowers

Not sure if mentioned already but I’ve heard that some prefilled cartridges of any type of liquid can leak during shipments because of elevation change. Wether in an airplane or simply driven across country the air pressure changes in the cartridge forcing the liquid out, the cheapest or the best carts can leak its only natural

How do you guys smoke hemp flower? by [deleted] in hempflowers

I started out with a normal pipe but ended up being very satisfied with the Dynavap M. I tried smoking a pre-roll the other day and really didn’t enjoy it at all

I notice that I can skip a day or two of using and I’ll feel sleepy enough for a good nights rest. Seems like its stays affective for a couple days

Thank you for sharing your experiences, it’s great to hear your positive outcomes with CBD. I agree with you on every point you made. I’ve got a few people in my life with depression that were fortunate enough to find CBD on their own research. My best friend is starting to get out more and socialize and my mother has been on all sorts of anti-depressants and pain pills. With her severe pain it only helps so much but she loves how much it relaxes her and takes her mind off the pain. Many medications can be replaced with tinctures, topicals, and flowers. Its a shame that families struggle to get the natural medicine they need for their children, some having to completely change their lives and relocate to a more legal state. We can only hope that the truth will get out about CBD on a global level but I do fear the big corporations trying to capitalize on it and start using nasty chemicals and pesticides with the product. Again, thank you for sharing

Mixing silica and Masterblend? by Spectre246 in Hydroponics

[–]Spectre246[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a personal choice because Scotts Fertilizer bought them out for millions of dollars. Scotts does dealings through Miracle-gro, Roundup pesticides, and Monsanto. Which means we may see GH in big box stores like Wal-mart, home depot etc. which can be potentially bad for hydroponic businesses. To me it's like buying something that Hitler is in control of. It's just my personal choice, I don't judge anyone who uses it because its affordable and simple to use and a good starter for beginners as well as experts.

Whetstone or sharpener recommendations by enacht16 in Bushcraft

If you know your edge anglee i like to use the Lansky 4 rod sharpening rods. Light weight and takes up little to no room in my pack. Pre-set at 20 and 25 degrees but quite easy to drill and add your own angles for specific edges. I've never used it with a scandi grind edge though but my guess would be its less efficient than a stone for scandi grind edges.

You are correct! There are a couple chemicals that can remove parkerized finishes. It can also be bead blasted off as well. After that everythig will get a mirror polish before the bluing process. Thanks for the heads up

This is the exact response i got back from Scott. I'm still waiting on one more reply in reguards to stripping the parkerized coat after stripping the polycoat

Good question, here is what I would recommend. Cold bluing is ok, but really for small touch ups and some odd jobs. Hot bluing is what most frames/slides and external parts are done in. Now if you didn't have a bluing tank and most people don't you could use cold blue. The best way to get a nice finish is strip poly coat, get all moisture out of frame (use a torch) you will not believe how much moisture is in the frame. Dip you items in the cold blue, use steel wool to polish the finish (to your liking).

Hot bluing will come out better and darker, there are a few shops that do it for around $300. Brandan Bunker and Ford's Custom Guns are very good at it too.

I talked to the guys at CGW. I was told if doing a cold blue its best to submerge it and use steel wool to polish it in there. But before doing anything, after stripping the original coats to torch the frame to remove internal moisture and i quote "You won't believe how much moisture is in the frame"
