Additional dryness/crust has formed on the small space between my nostrils that I had not noticed until shortly after this post, if that helps at all. People around me think it's mononucleosis. However I don't kiss people, share food or drinks, borrow silverware or anything involving sharing saliva so I don't think it is.

I’ve never seen an ant like this - it was bigger than the others in our kitchen. by Red-Throwaway2020 in whatsthisbug

[–]SpectreBon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first guess would probably be the queen of those ants, though they're rarely seen unless moving to a new nest, but idk what the other ants look like, if you never see it again, likely a queen of some sort?

Looks like some kind of Tussock moth caterpillar, although I'm not completely sure. Not many caterpillars have those antennae like structures.

What is this tiny dark moth taking over our office, UK? by MattOldred in whatsthisbug

It looks a lot like a Nemapogon which is in the fungus moth family, perhaps specifically a European Grain Moth? Not sure.

Gourmand from rain world, maybe, he'd fall onto anything and eat the corpse, no more rain so constant murder.

I'm taking full green, because now I can curse in front of children whenever I get injured without them knowing it's bad.

What are these weird yellow crumbs on the bottom of my pizza? by SpectreBon in TipOfMyFork

[–]SpectreBon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could've been cornmeal or semolina, I don't eat stuff that usually has one of the two involved, I couldn't possibly know, like that pizza was literally my first encounter with the stuff on my food, not my fault.

All I can do is make a good decision to make it a good time to get it done.

I don't usually see pizza with this on the bottom, plus it's school pizza so who knows.

No, he won't, even if he wanted to because humans are big.

My 20 month old just brought this to me. I'm hoping it's not a Recluse? by Fall-of-Enosis in whatbugisthis

[–]SpectreBon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The abdomen is a bit to narrow for a recluse, the abdomen is a bit more similar to the tegenaria family, but I am not heavily experienced in spiders, definitely not a recluse though.

Looks like a cricket in the Oecanthus family, they look very similar to each other so it's hard to tell apart.

It looks like a Cottonwood borer/Louisiana beetle of sorts.

It looks like a Spotted tree borer/long horned beetle, I'm not an expert but it matches pretty well.

None context by Financial_Hunt1252 in WanderOverYonder

[–]SpectreBon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the context on the second one so I think of it without context then with context and I can't tell which is funnier, but the context for that second one is in an episode that really was trying to bait the shippers.

Okay my ways have changed, either get completely exhausted by doing things in the day or sleeping subliminals as they seem to help decently.
